    This sort of stripper is for Orange circular cables or big sdi type mains that you can't use your pliers for. These strippers are very handy as you otherwise have to use a knife which can leave you with an uneven finish.

  This particular design of sheath stripper is patented
  by many companies which makes replacing the blade a *fair bit cheaper than wiedmuller, knipex etc.
  I've personally found this design to deviate when doing a 360⁰ cut and don't recommend it but its fine.
