For the person who reported as expired, you need to press the Redeem button to get it for this price.

    • Maybe you need Prime Membership for the code to work (or the redeem button to appear).

Could someone without Prime check and I can update the listing if so.

      • +2

I didn't go through payment but I could see the redeem button / manually apply the coupon code "0UJE4TJM" for $10 off using an account without Prime. Note that delivery is extra.

      • I don't have a Prime subscription and I see the Redeem button.

Thankyou sir, I'll leave description as is then.

  • 1.37 x 1.37 x 1.57 inches

Is that the correct dimensions ??
    Damn tiny

    • @HiredGoon can you confirm the size ??

      • +1

I don't have a rule on me, sorry. But I do have the charger in hand, and that looks pretty close. The poles (prongs) obviously extend further than those dimensions.

        • There is ruler app for mobile phone lol

        • +1

          38mm x 38mm x 48mm (65mm with poles)

      • I don't think so mate, I'm looking at it right now, it's definitely not that big. That could maybe be the packaging?

        • +2

Sorry about that- you are correct.
          Just measured it and is (very) approx 6.5cm x 3.5cm x 3.5cm

      • Must be wrong. Which is sad… keep saying its small but cant get the details right

    • Got one next to me, yeah about right

  • +1

Have been using it for the last year, happy with it.

Can confirm that is comfortably charges MacBook Air so great for travel

Great brand, got it in may for same price.

It has been this price for a long time, sometimes straight up $19.99, sometimes with coupon. Coupon is just a way to trick price tracking sites.

It's well built and compact. I use 2 of them, prefer to be able to switch on and off either one independently than having a single large multi-port one. Down side of 2 is they take up 2 sockets.

Having 1 USB-C port also avoids the power redistribution and reset problem.

I have their GaNPrime charger with 2 USB-C ports, Apple Watch doesn't charge properly (i.e. stops charging) when iPhone is connected to charge. I guess it has something to do with power redistribution, even though the GaNPrime models supposedly solved that problem.

Bought 1 on prime day for $18.99

    • Nice may put in a 28d claim - paid $22.49.

Handy to get another but have the google 30W as well (for about 30$).

A nice upgrade from the old 18W google chargers etc lying around.

Claim with Amazon or claim with credit card?

Credit card price protections generally have a lot of strings attached. Typical examples are:

        • Purchase must be above certain value.
        • Price difference must be greater than certain amount.
        • In store purchases only, and the retailers much be within certain difference.
        • -2

Read what I said, never mind all that.
          28d is a credit card

  • nice got 1

  • Nice! Anker's a great brand… Will grab one.

  • +5

By the way, the description says they are retractable prongs.

The australian model is NOT retractable for anyone buying for that purpose. I learnt the hard way

    • -5

You don't need retractable, great chargers.

      • Maybe,…….but nice to have yeah!

        • +2

          Wow neggers lol.
More moving parts isn't really better for something simple.

Don't think you need it unless it's a travel adaptor with changeable prongs.

          • +1

@G-rig: I see your point, but many people must pack these to move around various places.

I did not neg you as I knew what you meant (stronger and more reliable if fixed).

            • +1

@ozhunter68: Yeah don't really care people will get whatever works so all good.

    • I was meant to say foldable not retractable but same thing

  • Good bargain.

  • Thanks. Heading away in a week and just picked up 2.

Isnt this 40w charger with 4 ports for $19.54 is cheaper? https://amzn.asia/d/0jfw5euM

    • +3

Anker is a much more reliable brand

    • Have you ever heard of that brand,?

      • No, but great reviews from over 700 happy customers.

        • Not all 700 are positive. 4.3/5 doesn't particularly scream great, but could be worse I suppose.

Some of the 1 and 2 star reviews are somewhat concerning. But I would be more open if there was a review opening it up and confirming the quality of the build and materials. There are a lot of cheap, dodgy and sometimes downright dangerous chargers out there as I am sure you would be familiar with.

I'm currently eyeing the UGREEN Nexode 100w currently for $69 - seems to get OzB tick of approval

Warning- I purchased this the last time they were on special. Last week I came home from work and there was a burnt plastic smell in house. This charger had popped and partially melted. No more Anker for me !

  • Got the Officeworks GaN charger from the last deal, $10 vs $20 and the Officeworks has more wattage.

    • GAAAANNNNN! lol
what brand is the OW one?

      • Otto but it seems to work fine with my Macbook.

        • Never heard of it but sounds alright and OW easy returns
