      Thank you.

I have this case, it's superb. Looks so much better if you change all the rainbow lights to one colour, too.

      • Or no lights at all (i have the grill version of this case and like the minimal look)

        • Mine I have set to a subtle gold-yellow colour, looks awesome just peeking through the mesh. Really good cooling for a 'solid' looking case too, runs very quietly for me.

          • @caitsith01: That sounds nice. I did the same with my keyboard and mouse when I had rbg ones, a gold colour seemed to match well especially if you have a black/walnut desk

Isn’t it more comparable to a 4070Ti Super? 4080 Super benchmarks are showing faster than this card upon a quick glance (let alone the 4090)

      • +1

Yeah i have no idea why he is comparing it to a 4090.

        • +12

On par with 4080 - 7900 XTX beats 4070 TI Super

      • +7

A 4080 Super loses to an XTX in FPS

Advantages of AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX

Up to 27% cheaper than GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER - $1059.99 vs $1455.0
Up to 31% better value when playing Halo Infinite than GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER - $7.31 vs $10.54 per FPS
Up to 50% more VRAM memory than NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER - 24 vs 16 GB
Advantages of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER
Consumes up to 10% less energy than AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX - 320 vs 355 Watts

Advantages of AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX

Tell the class what happens when you turn on DLSS, which almost every modern game supports. Or raytracing.

          • +3

@Ademos: I dunno, probably uses AI to increase resolution or frames?

            • -3

@teacherer: Yes indeed, which the 4090 has dedicated hardware for, and does it extremely well. Very large boosts to performance, and not reflected in the above stats.

          • @Ademos: I know with DLSS or raytracing on Nvida normally wins by a large margin, my question though is does anyone actually use those, I am yet to find a game where I find DLSS better and raytracing even on these means a huge hit to performance.

          • +2

@Ademos: Not as good as DLSS but FSR is a decent alternative

          • +1

@Ademos: You lose image clarity with DLSS and a whole lot of frames with raytracing.

            • +2

@moist: exactly, never understood the boast about DLSS or raytracing, both compromise the quality or performance which is exactly what you want to avoid when you are paying for top end systems.

              • -4

@gromit: You lose very little with dlss3, it simply is not noticeable to most, and you gain an enormous amount of fps. That tired old trope is a holdover from the first implementations of dlss 1, which was poor.

If you choose to enable raytracing you get far less of a hit with the dedicated hardware for it built into the 4090 than the other offering. There is far less of a compromise on nvidia as a result.

Fsr is an alternative. But a very poor one. There is no escaping the fact that dedicated hardware makes a difference.

You also lose out on professional applications with the lack of CUDA processing.

      • +2

Not sure where you get that. AFAIK the 7900XTX is slightly faster in most games, apart from RTX (Though that may have changed with AMD's recent driver update).

I bought a 7900XTX over a 4080 of any flavour, part because I wanted AMD part because the 24GB of memory will be great for some modded games

        • -2

XTX is faster but lacks DLSS, if fake frames and AI upscale is your thing then NVidia is the winner, oh and add in VR to that, AMD VR experience is poor (unfortunately)
you can get a deal with 4080s for this price as well so Im not sure its a great deal, the components are all good and case is nice

          • +1

@botchie: I use my 7900XTX for VR and it's great.

          • +3

@botchie: This is 100% incorrect. Please stop posting this. I have VR and its fine.

Also AMD has FSR, and while its not as good - a card this fast doesnt need it.

    • -2

Not bad considering its a bit slower than a 4090

It's a lot slower if the 4090 uses DLSS / Frame Generation, or you turn on ray tracing.

Why do people constantly pretend that doesn't exist and isn't a factor when comparing benchmarks, as though raw raster is the only factor in the equation in 2024.

      • maybe because if you pay $3k just for a card and need to use fake frames and AI to get higher frames it will be visible ?
nothing beats raw performance, unedited and pure

Also with new tech and UE5 - you actually don't need RT

        • +1

Can you clarify how "new tech" and UE5 does away with RT?

        • +2

Lumen - as you're referring to it - is literally lower quality software RT. It's a fallback as we transition to pathtracing-capable hardware being the norm.

        • -3

My man, its all fake. Its computer generated imagery. You know that, right?

Imagine being so much of a shut in that you buy an inferior product because you're scared to admit that a.i is working. In 2024.

  • Well set out web site

  • $500O got my attention

  • Nice build + case, just not a fan of the Radeon graphics cards, would want a 5080 Super instead

    • +1

Where can you get a 5080 currently?

      • lmao true. 4080 super instead

    • +1

Hi mate we have some high end motherboard options.

        • True, if you have any motherboard you want we can customize it

          • -4

@GalaPower: pretty sure the amd 7000 series of cpus do not have thunderbolt/usb 4 support you need to go intel for that.

            • @kungfuman: Was about to say the same thing.. you should just skip amd and go intel if thunderbolt is a dealbreaker. Cause it is extremely rare to find AMD boards with thunderbolt support (if any)

              • -4

@aman211: not true I have a AMD x570 AM4 motherboard it has thunderbolt 3 ports. it was supported on previous gen 5000 series cpus

            • @kungfuman: yeah so just ask galapower for a a USB4 motherboard upgrade option

              • -6

@BLAIL: there isn't one for AMD 7000 series cpus.

                • +12

@kungfuman: You may as well blast a trumpet teacher for not offering piano lessons. If you need a different product, go get the different product.

                • +1

@kungfuman: Huh? I’m pretty sure Proart X670e and ROG extreme have dual TB4 ports?

          • @GalaPower: do you have the Proart X670e for the AMD 7000s chip set? This comes with thunderbolt 4

            • +1

@kungfuman: Alternatively, other boards, even with similar chipsets, have it too.
              ASRock B650E Taichi for example.

              • -2

@goodwillN1: yep I know those ones but you have to buy the additional thunderbolt 4 AIC for that, would prefer it to part of the IO already.

    • +1

kungfuman doesn't want guitar lessons: https://youtu.be/L3dxMGzt5mU?si=L2n4GJqkvQQAwASD

  • Is anybody else having trouble even accessing their website?

    • +2

      Sorry overload atm, fixing now.

      • If i can get on im almost certainly buying one. Whats the delivery time for this deal?

        • +1

Fixed. Currently our leading time is 3-4 business days for building and once done it will be shipped via TNT express.

      • Free website stress test :-)

  • This deal after the A3 one…you guys are on a different level with case selection among the prebuilt offerings that get posted here. Love to see it.

  • This looks pretty damn solid - would consider if my build is falling apart.

    • A hammer may help your build along …lol

  • +2

NGL this seems kind of an expensive way to get 4080 level performance, especially considering some Adata components.

  • +1

the wood paneling on the front looks really sleek, wow is this an incoming trend of PC cases?

    • +1

      *kindling

  • -1

I hope the new Copilot+ pc AI with Snapdragon X Elite will bring the prices of other PCs/Macs down (soon ;)

  • They also have the 4080 Super deal for $100 more. Would I be silly to think that may be better if efficiency and VR support are important to me? Or are the efficiency benefits only really under heavy load?

    • +2

4080 super will carry you further than the 7900 xtx
I'd say it's worth it. If all other things are the same

    • +1

4080 super definitely better and worth $100 bucks more

  • +1

Wish I'd bought this instead of buying from techfast, currently a month and still hasn't got to build phase

    • Can't cancel and go with this ?

      • TCs state I'd pay a restocking fee of 20% :-/

        • well that's a no …😐

    • You mean techslow ^^

    • no surprise there

  • This would look great in my parent's study back in the 70's

  • Anyone experienced with these guys? How's the service and delivery?

    • got my 7500F + 4070Super with them. Service was great, had wrong address when placing order and contacted them with live chat and was rectified immediately. Placed order on a Saturday, PC was shipped out on Tuesday and received in Perth on Friday. (this was before they got super busy, lead time was 2-3 days back then). Super fast delivery as well.

Even after getting the PC, i was going to install some fans myself and wasn't sure how to do it, asked on live chat and they pointed me in the right way. (mine was daisy-chained).so i only needed to plug in my fans on to the daisy chain connector.

      10/10 would recommend

  • Have placed an order with a few upgraded components. Thanks for the great deal.

  • Could you guys do a mini itx build with nr200p max a 4080 super 7800x3d combo msi z790i or msi 6450i gaming edge wifi mobo

    • +1

Hi mate shoot us a message we can always do a custom build for you.

  • These guys provide amazing support, replies very quickly even on the weekends. Able to provide post sale support even answered multiple of my questions on adding my own parts. Had a single fault nvme but they promptly replaced it without questions. 10/10.

Do aim for a better psu and motherboard if your budget allows though.

  • +1

That ssd will be full in no time. At that price point 1tb seems pretty subpar

  • I bought a 4090 set up, 1200w power supply all the shiz.. would have made more senss to get this bad boy if you are on the fence.

  • +1

Ordered on the weekend, they confirmed payment Monday night.
Order shipped Wednesday, arrives today. Quite decent service so far.

Opening up the rig though, they have installed an ASUS GPU instead of a Gigabyte one. Not the end of the world but a bit weird given its listed as a Gigabyte. Also the invoice with the system lists a Gigabyte so I will need to get a new invoice for that, like I said not the end of the world.

I did pay $70 more for the Lexar 7200 RAM and they have installed 6400 which whilst not a massive difference is not what I ordered and paid for and is not what is on the invoice.

I'll confirm the motherboard model and storage upgrades I paid for when I boot the system. PC build quality seems good.
CPU cooler is on an angle which I haven't seen before but I am hoping that's on purpose to clear the RAM.

    • GP have replied that the heatsink is bent and that isn't by design. They are getting me to ship it back so they can fix it.

  • Keep getting a 504 on the website?

  • Ordered the 4080s x 7800x3D deal from @Galapower
Came after a week! Pretty fast imo !
Going to set it up tonight !
Experience been very good so far! (Quick response from galapower).

1st time buying from them. Would def recommend to ppl!!
    Thanks again ☺️
Will update after the beast is set up lol.
