AGL Promotion - Have Not Received The Good Guys $200 Store Credit

Hi team, I signed up for AGL on 23/05/24 at the TGG store and was promised a $200 TGG gift voucher after receiving my first AGL bill.

However, I have not yet received it. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue?

How should I proceed to resolve this?

  • Mine took a while to arrive after the 1st bill -

    Received an email with a redemption link with a 30 day expiry
    Two weeks after redemption they sent an SMS with a redemption code, you need to add to Vault within 2 months
    Card then lasts 12 months

    Redemption link is only valid for 30 days. Your Digital Gift Card must be activated within 2 months of issue and will have a validity of 12 months from date of activation.

  • Does anyone have a link to the original promotion? I signed up to AGL electricity on 25/5/24. I did it over the phone and understood that it was the Westpac Rewards $100 card offer, so the CSR said. When this didn't turn up, called, was told I was signed up to Good Guys offer instead. Don't know how much this is worth? I'm in NSW.

    Did you receive the gift card from AGL. If yes how long it took. I am on same boat now.
    Tried calling AGL and update that I am getting is, it will take 4 to 8 weeks to get a respond from their cards team.

    • Did you get your card? I signed with Westpac for the $250cr and &100 prepaid Mastercard. Still haven’t received the mast card and have contacted them several times but they keep giving me the run around. They have said a few times that they have emailed it but nothing arrives.

  • It's been four months since I signed up with AGL, and I still haven't received my $200 TGG gift card. I've lodged two complaints with AGL without any success. Yesterday, I filed a complaint with the Energy and Water Ombudsman Victoria (EWOV), and within 24 hours, I received a call from AGL. They confirmed that I am eligible for the $200 TGG gift card and also offered me a $100 AGL credit.

    • thanks for sharing this, been getting the run around for my Jul signup and have just raised a complaint via EWON, fingers crossed
