  • Good price :)

I'll get around to it one day…

I'll get around to it one day…

2 years later…when Torchlight 2 goes on sale

Oh wait, I already own this game.

      • +23

I've saved so much money from the Steam store pages telling me that I already own the game…

      • hahaha, you know what? I actually did that when Torchlight 1 went on sale recently! It did motivate me to start playing it though… but I got distracted by Borderlands…

My "to-play" list is growing faster than I can play them, and has been for some time :S

Instead of just posting a single game off the front page, you might as well do OZb a favour and list everything that's cheap on today's sale to avoid reposting.

  • Thank you to OP. Just bought myself a copy.

  • I played it on Friday, quite good.

  • lol! I just payed $14.95 for it yesterday as well!

    • +8

If it hasn't been on the daily deal or flash sale don't buy until the last day. :)

  • If it was $14.99 yesterday, wouldn't 50% off be $7.50 (rounded up)?

    • +1

No because $14.99 was when it was 25% off.

    • +1

Normal price is $20. They were 25% off.

This game has a good multiplayer system?

    • +1

      Yes it does indeed.

Any loot found is also replicated for all players, so there is no getting assholes stealing something great that you found.

  • Damn you.. was trying to stop spending money on games I wont play… but now I failed!!

  • anyone played Orcs Must Die 2? how was it?

    • Awesome, great 2 player co-op!

    • It's cool but not viable for solo play like the first one. You really need a second player managing the other spawn otherwise you'll fail.

    • Its disappointing in many ways compared to the first.

But it has coop so its worth it.

  • Glad I didn't buy it till today. Hope it doesn't drop to 75% off on Cyber Monday.

  • Dupe. The Steam Autumn sale has already been posted.

Torchligght II's 4-gift pack for $30 is quite interesting as well. Anyone wanna pool our resources together?

  • Dupe. I posted a rant in another dupe of the Steam sale, but at least the game that was posted in that deal wasn't actually listed on the front page of Steam. At least this post has been edited to almost look like the suggestion I had in the other deal, though it would be better that you list ALL of today's games on sale, not just the few cheapest ones.

    • According to scotty it's fine to have separate deals for a sale/coupon and individual products: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/80313

      • +1

That's fine, but for something like the Steam sale's, if we're going to have more than one post about it then at least make it one post per day listing all of the days sales.

        • +1

Personally I don't think it's fine for coupons or anything really. Regardless of the store there's no need for multiple listings per coupon/sale just because it applies to multiple products.

One listing per day sounds fine for Steam sales though where the products actually change each day.

        • Well yeah, I shouldn't have started my reply off with "That's fine", as I agree with you. I'd much prefer to see everything under one post, but the mods don't agree with us. So in that case I'd hope that it could be limited to one post per day for things like this, listing all that is on sale, and that posts like this either get deleted or edited to achieve this.

  • Considering picking up a copy of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. Anyone given it a shot?
    http://store.steampowered.com/app/219640/

    • I'm pretty tempted by this also, watched someone play it on stream and it looked like a blast.

    • I've also seen a few videos & streams of it and it looks like good fun. The only reason I haven't bought it is that I way too much other online stuff to play that I never get time for…

      • All the gameplay videos are what got me interested too. I've got about 15 other steam games i've got to play at some stage but figured @ $12.49 this is too good to pass up. Going to grab myself a copy tonight :)

  • Maybe the people in this thread could get together and co op some games? ha

    • +1

You mean to actually play a game I purchased during a Steam sale? … Not sure about that.

    • +4

I think we're just stockpiling games and saving them for when the apocalypse comes. Then, you can sit in an enclosed room with nothing but a years supply of canned beans, your computer and a 100 unplayed Steam games.

      • Except you won't have electricity… and there will be no internet so you can't get on Steam either… just saying lol

  • Deus Ex 2 Human Rev $6.24 - Metascore 90

Human Revolution is actually the third in the series - Invisible War was the second :)

    • +1

Invisible War? Do not speak of that name again. That game does not exist.
