Got a camel alert and wow, wasn't expecting this price. $6 for 100 pages of 9 Pocket Trading Card Pages. I guess it could be a price error. Looks to be a maximum of 10 per account.

  • Whoops. Thanks for fixing the titile. Got too excited and didn't do it properly.

  • I'm assuming Amazon must has matched another seller's 10 Pack.

Could be. I paid $5 at Target for 10. I was expecting to pay about $30 for this 100 pack.

        • I'll guess we'll see what happens. I've read that if you really want to protect your cards you are better off with those zipped binders anyway.

            @ozbs25:

really want to protect your cards

Most people would use Top Loaders

            • @RichardL: Maybe they're suggesting the zipped binders that hold top loaders.

              • @Gehirn: I've read that using these sorts of 3 ring binders can damage your cards in the long term. I've seen people recommend VaultX. I bought one of those recently. They have started their own Amazon AU storefront.

@ozbs25: 3 ring binders don't damage your cards unless you've overstuffed the binder to the brim or forcefully turning the pages. But I've read D-ring binders are much better than O-ring

                  • @cyrax83: Going to have to use 3 ring binders if my order goes through. I bought some of the Amazon Basics card pages just to compare but they aren't close to the quality of these ones.

                  • @cyrax83: Yep, this!

                  • @cyrax83: I'll keep that in mind. I do have a couple of the Ultra Pro Binders which seem nice as well as some other binders in both O-ring and D-ring styles. Maybe I'll just use the O-ring binders and Amazon Basics stuff for stuff like free/cheap cards you get for kids from the grocery store or whatever.

            • @RichardL: Sorry, I mean for your general collection. I've got some Top Loaders and those magnetic one touch things too. Can't use those for everything though. For anything really nice or rare I guess I'd use a Top Loader or better. For the rest I'd want to put it in some sort of binder.

I'm just starting in collecting cards of any sort but from what I understand you end up with a lot of base cards, so many that you don't know what to do with them all, and end up just tossing them out. I don't really want to do that though…

  • Does anyone have a screenshot of the listing or their invoice by any chance, please?

Just received mine, can confirm it's a pack of 100 pages.

    • Nice. I hope my order goes through. Mine hasn't been shipped yet.

      • Same mine hasn't been shipped either

        • Mine just shipped.

    • Hey, these seem to be different to the packs you get at Target and Kmart. Platinum vs regular??, there no reference to any particular series for the pack I bought at Target. Seem to be thicker plastic. I guess that's a good thing?

Have you opened yours yet? I filled my 10 I got from Target first then started to fill some of these and I noticed the thickness difference straight away.

Platinum Series are thicker than Regular/Silver series sleeves.

The series is usually stamped on left where the ring binders are. I believe the one sold at Target and Kmart (Pokemon) ones are standard series.

        • Yeah, I had a look at the imprint on the left hand edge and it does differentiate the two different types, Platinum versus nothing on the standard ones. These Platinum ones feel even better that the standard ones. Good thing I didn't buy more of the Amazon basic ones, they feel pretty terrible in comparison. I bought a pack from the warehouse.
