  • Been on the market for one for some time now. Might pick one up.

Uses polypropylene lid which is phthalate free/BPA free from what I could see on the internet. Awesome. Bought 1 thanks OP

Probably made with some worse plastic related chemicals we won't know about for decades

Definitely has microplastic particles pushed into the water when hot.

        • I have a Tritan plastic bottle I put in the dishwasher for cleaning, which hits 65C :(

@Fobsessive: Don't worry about cleaning water, worry about drinking water.

  • Note that the largest "sip" style is available in 1litre in a different colour…

  • Dang 1L sip version or 1.2L non sip.

    Anyone used either?

Work gave me a frank green sip one that failed a few a couple of months. The rubber split. Would not recommend.

I had a previous model which looks exactly the same as this one aside from the colourway. It was one of my favourite bottles as the capacity is perfect for me

It doesn't keep things as cold as the Zojirushi but it was nice only having to refill my water once throughout the day. The rubber handle is very resilient and makes it feel good to carry, however mine is splitting after my mate commandeered it as a gym bottle for a few months

      • Which model Zojirushi??

I see they're quite well regarded on here

        • Got the one from this deal. Unfortunately, they don't make them in a larger size with the flip-top lid and a SlickSteel interior (no non-stick options). On their website, they announce that their coatings are made of PTFE (Teflon) which is a PFAS which I like to avoid. Some parts of the internet claim it to be safe but I don't trust them to not have some form of vested interest

          • @SpainKing: Thanks
That was a good read…. ironically, I ordered two of those at the time.
Only ever used for coffee….was hoping to get a larger size (750ml/1litre)
Thanks for the info they don't make them.

  • Nice one OP, got with free delivery, membership is free to sign up.

  • I just went to Kathmandu Doncaster store and they have different colours (Black, Blue & Cream): https://imgur.com/a/9SXgjsE

  • I prefer Sip Mouth Insulated Drink Bottle - 1L

Easier to drink from this while driving.

    • Does this fit in the car cup holder?

      • Fits in the door bin

  • Thanks OP

  • Oos ? Cant view page

I purchased this from Woolies or Coles for ~$16, same price as Amazon https://www.amazon.com.au/D%C3%A9cor-Adventurer-Insulated-St…

It has a small twist sippy thing, better than unscrewing the whole lid each time you want a sip.

Very happy with it. Happy enough to buy another when I lost my first.

It also has a carry handle

  • Thanks Op, bought 1 as I lost my last one a couple weeks ago. Perfect timing

  • Thanks OP 👍

No discount anymore. It's weird, a lot of stuff on their end of seasons markdowns page is full price lol

  • Went into store this morning and told them I missed out on getting this as I arrived after they closed yesterday, they still honoured the sale price. Hats off to Kathmandu Staff in George St Sydney.
