  • So $1 profit for the 25/10 plan then 🤑😋

25/10 is basically ADSL speeds and shouldn't be called NBN.

      • 2016 crying in 3/1 ADSL2 speeds because i didn't live near an exchange

  • I am aware that Superloop owns Exetel, but for all intents and purposes they are still run as separate companies.

So, any issues if someone wants to port to Superloop 100/20 for 6 months after finishing 6 months at Exetel?

    • +2

Probably that you have to give them 1 month notices when you intend to leave, makes it a bit more challenging to time correctly.

I recently cancelled with Superloop and had to go through the song and dance of calling them up. My reason was nominally their price increase, so their response was to offer me a 12-month price lower than the price I was on at the time.

I'm like, if you can do that, why did you have to increase your prices to start with? GTFO.

why did you have to increase your prices to start with?

I'm Like, why wouldnt they, they will try to maximise their profit. Not everyone can get time off to sing and dance. Thats what they count on.

      • Does anyone know if you can nominate a start date with Superloop?

Looking to do a churn from exetel to superloop and would be interested if that was possible during signup? Idea is to not have the thirty day notice period apply for
leaving exetel, or having to call to negotiate (Which apparently as they are the same overall company they will waive this).

        • Just went through the process and I could set a future connection date.

          • @chunky: Cheers, might run down my speed boost days with Exetel and set a date a couple of days outside the 30 days notice period to be safe.

      • makes it a bit more challenging to time correctly.

Yes. You can give them the 30-day notice anytime, but if this notice period does not align with your billing cycle exactly then they don't do prorata refund for any unused days.

  • How many days do I need to keep connection active with super loop for the Cashback?

    • 90 days

  • +2

Anyone know what is the minimum number of month to be connected to be eligible for cashback and when cashback is paid? Can't find any where

    • @tightarse is it possible for you to clarify above? Thanks

      • +3

Reached out to Superloop and added to terms:

You must remain a Superloop customer for at least 90 days after placing your order to be eligible for cashback.

        • @tightarse If I order today and setup for a later day (this weekend…), will I still get cashback?

          • +2

@DealHunterBD: Cashback applies from time of order. If you order before 23:59 AEST today you get the increased rates. If you order after, you get the BAU rates. All the best :)

    1000/50 @ $85 for 6 months is kinda tempting 👀

    • +1

You’ll save even more when you sign up for Family 100/20 and get 2 free months of upgrade, which is about $81/month for the first 6 months.

  • ah the Flip deal is still better

  • -1

Swoop nbn is best at the moment. $79 250/25 6mnths

  • I am very confused by this deal. Is the cashback for the first month or is it per month ongoing? Sorry if I have missed the fine print somewhere but if it is ongoing or for 6 months, it seems great.

    • It's a one time cashback on top of plans that are discounted for the first 6 months.

  • Shame their support is now trash tier.

Decent speeds but the support is just trash and unprofessional.

    Plenty of better alternatives.

  • @tightarse would cashback be invalided if I enter Referrer code from friend's Superloop Referral link? Thanks.
