I have a few Soundpeats and find them to be a good value option. This is a lightning deal. The usual Amazon price is $96.99 with a typical inflated RRP. Similar post to Seaman (Jones's post

Edit: OOS

Edit 2: Just checked now and they show as $96.99 but you can still add to cart, add promo and then on checkout its half price :)

These are badly designed for 'fit', google reviews.

I liked my sound peats before they went into the wash. I not fond of these in in ear canal ones I prefer the ones that sit like the old sound peats or gen 1 air pods.

    • My Google buds have been in the washing machine twice and survived! Sound peats - caput after one wash. :( Currently rocking the Tozo and loving them. Best $25 spent.

I dropped a bud in the loo, fully submerged. works fine after fishing it out (cleaning it off). That was 2 years ago. I own 2 pairs of soundpeats. have owned sony xm3 and 4, now own Nuraphones for over 2 years. Soundpeats are great at this price point, I'll probably buy these.

Yeah i got another brand exactly same style, not secure in my ears at all, once almost dropped into the toilet !!!

    • Which brand did you get?

Good to know what to avoid !

      • Heymix from Amazon few years ago, but one thing good about it is still going strong with them, son used them for 2 years, then the shell broken, I then super glued them back and using them till now for almost 2 years. Pair so well with my old macbook and never had issue.

    • Ok for #1 but not 2.

That's a decent price for LDAC support.

  • ive started using open ear and bone conduction earphones from aliexpress

$7-15 delivered within 10 days all with bluetooth 5.2 so low latency compatible

great if youre on a budget and dont care about audio quality and just use them to watch and listen to general media

    soundpeats no longer good value

I think about it. I dont care about sound quality. Do you have any recommendations with the link?
      Thank you.

      • sorry i dont have it handy

but i found them via generic search terms like bluetooth 5.2 wireless ear bud (or open ear buds) tack on the xiaomi brand as a keyword, even if they arent really xiaomi and sorted by price and popularity

there are 4 variations of styles too. clip on ones (looks like those ear piercings) or standard hook ones are the ones i saw

just make sure they come with a charging case

        • Thank you.

I've had a bad experience with soundpeats so will be staying away despite needing a pair of earbuds.
My last pair stopped working in less than 3 months.

Ooof bad luck, ive had mine for years at this point!

      • +2

Same here. Use them at the gym 4 days a week for years and they are still going strong.

Yeah my Truefree+ (I think) just stopped working after little use. They were a couple years old but used rarely.

    • I've found their headphones pretty good.

Their app is terrible, though incredibly slow and it won't work unless you give it email and location access.

I really like my Tozo A1s, which you can currently get for half the price of these SoundPeats:
    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09FT58QQP

They're really small, have good battery and sound pretty good to me.

    • I've heard decent things about those too :)

    • TOZO FTW!

anyone got recommendations for headphones to exercise with?

    • I've done a bit of research but it really depends on your ears! I've tried $20-$200 and they all fit different!!!

      • damn! big range. I'll keep researching

      Ive had so many buds.

Samsung Buds FE for the win. Easily the best value, comfortable, most secure huds youll buy. I domt care if you are iphone or not.

The beats power pros were good too, but too nuch $ for what you get these days, and the FEs arw a hetter fit without the hook which you can feel if also using throughout the day.

Bought these for the sound quality- it's awesome, better than much more expensive headphones but fatally flawed- They're simply too heavy and fall out of my ears too easily.

    I returned them.

    • Thanks for the personal testing, nothing beats a proper real person's feedback NON /s

    Whats the call quality like?

I got a pair of the Moondrop space travel off Amazon the other day to use while Sony repaired my expensive pair. I'm actually shocked at how decent they are for the $35 I paid for them.

Of course the WF-1000xm4 I use as my main pair are substantially better, but I don't know if they're 10x better.

I'm more open to trying the cheaper sets off Amazon now.
