    You could see if you can buy Apple Store gift cards somewhere? Or JB or Officeworks? If you need one that is just stock, I would just hold off until there is a sale.

    Apple Store will price match, to a degree. Whoever the price match would have to be in stock though. Apple Store is a good choice because of their two week no questions asked returns, even if you been using the MacBook while pooping.

    20x Woolies rewards points on Apple gift cards till tomorrow, its basically 10% off but you need to spend that money at woolies.

    Apple have an education store which don't they check for student ID or email. Can combine with discounted egift cards.

    correct me if I'm wrong, but MacBook Air with 16GB RAM can only be had direct from Apple.

    hence your only options are edu store and discounted gift cards

    If you have Perkbox, you can do 5% discount card then use it with AOC Apple ed's 11%. This brings the discount up to 16%. An M2 Macbook Air 16/256 would cost $1559.14. Wait till back to uni promo or Black Friday/Boxing Day to maximise your savings.

    Otherwise, get the Woolies Apple gift card, which will give you 10% in rewards points. Then use it in AOC Apple education store.

    side question: is the M2 air worth buying over M3 air? Given the small price difference, are the improvements not really noticeable in day-to-day non-CPU intensive tasks?
