  • Has anyone had any issues with the buttons on Garmin watches being unresponsive? I've had a Garmin FR245 for about 2 years now, and I found the buttons to be unresponsive around a year after purchase. I find myself having to press the button anywhere from 3-5 times just to do a simple command.

    • My Vivoactive 4's buttons have been OK. I'd recommend raising a support ticket for yours, have heard that their support team are usually quite good

    • No, I bought the white one from the JB hi-fi deal probably a couple years ago as well and still going strong. Worn in the shower every day

    • Forerunner 265, around a year old, no such issues at all

    • I've had my FR245M for over 3 years now and the buttons have worked flawlessly. I recently upgraded to an Instinct 2 and I wish the Instinct buttons were as prominent as the 245M

  • This is almost the price of an Epix on discount. What makes these so pricey? I bought my Forerunner 245 Music for $261…

    • Previously, Garmin used to reduce previous gen watch to about half price… I.e. full price of 955 (or 945 when it came out) around $900 they will reduce it to $450 (when on sale of coruse, not 100% of the time). These days, they only reduce to about 30% max. Mind though, 265 is still the current gen (not for long).
