Kind of leaning towards a Rangeman GW9400 myself (tough and Iconic, lacking a few of the modern features but heaps of stuff I'd never use).
Yes it is. This is a bloody good price. And an amazing watch. I have been dailying mine lately. Can't fault it.

The metal G-shocks look cool, chunky, heavy and blingy but too pretty to drop.Would be fine if you look after your stuff, just can't bash it around like G-shocks are intended. These are prone to hairline scratches being a polished surface. Scratched up G's are cool too though as they've been warn and not babied.
It's still tempting at under $500 for a JDM. They do wear a bit big (the end links turn out not down), so will have a bit of a a gap on 6.5 wrist but is doable.
G-Shocks are beater watches, unless you have a very limited, irreplaceable collab version of course. Wear those scratches with a badge of honour.
Have the black version. Very nice as a every day wear. Don't mind the scratches, but black doesn't seem to scratch that easily…
Under $500 is a fantastic price. These are Made in Japan as well.

Also when you say radio, do you mean Bluetooth radio? Or like actual AM/FM? If so, does that mean it has a speaker or does it connect your headphones with Bluetooth?

Radio = atomic clock, syncs to radio towers to keep the time accurate (useless in Australia).
It has Bluetooth so that's better, syncs to app 4 times a day.

15% CR would be good, seems like it's a goer for Men's watches. $30 cap so would bring the metal G to ~$461 if I'm not mistaken.. hmm.
I'd get an AE1200 world time of some description over the F91W. They feel too cheap and the bands don't sit well (personal experience).
Or those GBD200 are worth the extra, and just turn the smart watch stuff off.

Yes. It's sold direct by Amazon anyway. But better 15% today through Cashrewards. I always use Chrome mobile browser in my android phone and always tracked successfully. No problem for me with any cashback companies.

Usually people who want Apple Watch has iPhone already. Not good with Android phones as ECG can only work with iPhone. If you don't have iPhone, better other smartwatch.

I think you'd want to have >7.5" wrist for a good fit. Some people put on resin strap but that defeats the purpose.They are still expensive so may look at some cheaper models.
Reminded myself that I only have 2 wrists…….
