So cheap considering it's coming from USA and how bulky it is.

  • These are tiny. Got it for way less a while back. Good for camping.

    • Thanks 14” isn’t too bad. I’ve not seen the premium this cheap before, the normal or silver is normally around this price though.

  • Very similar model from Weber AU.

    $25 from Bunnings
    https://www.bunnings.com.au/jumbuck-32cm-portable-charcoal-g…
I own one and recommend for simple charcoal BBQing.
Get one of these as well for $10 if you don't already have one
    https://www.bunnings.com.au/jumbuck-3-7l-bbq-charcoal-starte…

    • That thing is completely useless and a waste of money.

      So many huge design flaws:

One, the charcoal covers all the air intakes at the bottom. Two the entire thing doesn't get enough oxygen in at all regardless. Three the charcoal in the BBQ straight melts off the plastic air vent handle - see here https://streamable.com/3t8nzf

      It's legit just landfill crap

      • It doesn't cover it if you use the lower grill wire.

If you leave the lid off, it gets enough air and heat to cook a steak in under 10mins. That's all I need it for.

Yes the plastic melts off, still works as intended. Matches the price point.

  • I use a go anywhere .. bloody brilliant little things ..paid 55 bucks 7 years back .. no ash pan no gauge on the hood ..bought it for camping but I use it at least once every week now.. between that and the Joe Junior ..dont need to touch the bigger bbqs ..not sure about this one though.. it looks like a mini kettle but long cooks in this form factor will be hard not because of fuel capacity but because of the height or lack of it ..but then I thought the go anywhere was a toy so maybe I am wrong ..

    Warning.
    Smoking is a health hazard…

    • Then why does it cure salmon?

      • Which disease did the salmon have?

        • +1

          Salmonella of course.

  • Can you get away with not using a cover if you are keeping it inside in a shed or garage?
