all time low if you have Prime.
previous ATL was $259.99.

this has been described by many reviewers as a budget JBL Boombox 2 and has been confirmed to use the same speakers inside.

it’s just not as “budget” in Aus because it regularly dropped under US$150 (AU$224) at Amazon.com.

some negatives reviewers won’t mention is sound is not as good at low volume and some experienced slight noises coming from the speakers when playing low volume.

charges via included AC cable.
has Aux in and USB-C slow charge output for charging phones etc.

  • Had mine for 9 months maybe. Does the job fine but if you're looking for big sound, get the JBL like I wish I had.

    • I don’t think Boombox 2 will be that much better.
they use the same speakers, just everything else inside is probably lower quality in Stormbox Blast.
if you mean Boombox 3 then yeah it will be the better speaker overall. but I only seen it around $450 at the lowest.

the Stormbox Blast is meant to be like a cut price Boombox 2.

      • Yeah mate. JBL Boombox 3 is what I was comparing it to at the time. This was less than half the price so I thought I would give it a go.

yeah definitely would have considered it too if I was shopping for a boombox.

Stormbox Blast should sound bigger than something like Soundcore Motion Boom plus. but Tribit is also an extra $80 more so you would expect it (Boom plus was regularly $180 before recent $160 deal).

  • Actually bought this the other day and just unboxed it. Going to use it at work for the week and see how it goes. Have/had Motion Boom and the X600 which I'm going to compare it to.
