Doesn't come with the SES station but paying ~$350 more for it, not sure if it's worth it.

Got me at tangle free cleaning cause my current stick vacuum head is just a ball of hair.

Suction seems quite high for the price ~8000 PA(?) and the mop function is the cherry on top.

  • Have you considered the Lubluelu SL60D + empty station? Cheaper and I would posit better…2 brushes, LIDAR etc, very well regarded here on OzB.

Also, the 8000pa claim is dubious at best…that's almost 1000 air watts. The Dyson robot vac has a claimed 65 air watts suction, so I highly doubt the Eufy one is 66 times stronger.

    • The old x8 claimed 4000pa but was really 2000pa using two seperate outlets and was a bit of fudging the numbers for marketing. Not sure if this one is doing the same and it’s really a 4000pa model

Edit yeah just looked it’s the same logic so I’d consider it a 4000pa vac

      • Thanks - makes sense

    • Do you know how the app interface is on this one?

Bit of a princess when it comes to these things but I've been burnt before by cheap products with poor app interfaces.

      • I have two SL60Ds in my house. The app takes a little getting used to, it's not Apple-tier intuitive but certainly manageable and allows scheduling, geofencing, cleaning cycle customisation. I paid $209 & $215 and they've both been exceptional. The auto-empty station is awesome too.

  • I had a X8 and was given the X8 Pro as a replacement - it is MUCH better. It has been running 4x per week now for about 5 weeks and hasn't put a roller wrong. The navigation is much better than X8, it is quieter and seems to do a decent job of cleaning.

I agree that the 8000 number is BS, but the suction is certainly strong enough for hard floors and regularly cleaned carpets IMO. The Eufy app is pretty good although it looks a bit different on each model I have tried (35c, X8 & X8 Pro) - lots of options, easy to set up schedules, NoGo zones and virtual barriers etc. It shows a full map showing where it has been, number of minutes & m², and the battery percentage. Eufy generally scores well for the app.

  • If you watch reviews on YouTube, these aren't actually tangle free so you might be dissapointed there.

    • I think you would need an extreme amount of hair for it to be a problem. My wife has long hair and sheds worse than a poodle, and the old Eufy 35c was always getting wrapped up in hair needing to be cut off weekly, the X8 was far better, and I haven't yet had to even clean the main roller brush (after 5 weeks) with the X8 Pro. The Pro runs a couple of "de-tangle" cycles at the end of a run, which I suspect spin the brush backwards into the comb to remove anything stuck to the brush (the X8 didn't do this).
