good price it is $143 at amazon 4500 model

    but lower model 4100 $48
    https://www.amazon.com.au/Sonicare-Toothbrush-Rechargeable-H…

    4300 model $75 https://www.amazon.com.au/Philips-Sonicare-Rechargeable-Elec…

any comparison website side by side ?

    • The 4300 vs this 4500:
      - White vs Black (white is available elsewhere)
      - 2 speeds with same button to cycle vs 2 modes (clean and whitening) with separate buttons.
      - C2 model head vs W model head included
      - No travel case vs travel case (plastic, non charging)

The travel case is probably worth $5, but IMO a single button to change mode is super annoying… At least it was on my previous model where I'd attempt to turn off the brush to hear my partner speak, but accidentally trigger through all the modes (this had 4). It also would start on an unexpected mode sometimes. So I greatly prefer separate buttons and that's worth a premium personally.

  • Anyone got any deals or recommendations on something with a charger travel case? Want something that I can take on holidays and will keep it charged for 30days or more. USB-C charger case would be great, or just something that will charge in case instead of needing a its own base station.

  • Costco has set of 2 with USB A (model 3100), usually on sale for $99 if you have membership, (Now price go back to $149)

Slightly cheaper from their eBay Store if you have eBay Plus - $89.10 Delivered with code SALE10

  • I think it's been this price basically forever, thats what I got it for "on sale" 3 years ago.
Unless you need the black handle, the 4300 gets you all the same stuff sans the whitening mode, which doesnt really do a ton anyway

  • The philips brush heads are far less likely to be on sale and are approximately double the cost of Oral B brush heads. Also according to the web, philips electric toothbrush is less durable than oral b.
