Probably not as good as the expired Duo deal for $103.20 but you can make yogurt for the extra $21.79 spent

Duo has got the yogurt maker too. Not sure about the difference between duo n plus.
Sous vide function is the biggest one. It's a feature I use very often. Can set an exact temp between 25 and 90. Great for slow poaching.
Works well for steaks.
Frying pan works better
@TEER3X: With thicker steaks I prefer the Sous Vide.
@try2bhelpful: Each to their own, I don't like the texture.
Reverse sear for thicker steaks, can even do the first step in an airfryer on lower heat.
@TEER3X: If we all liked the same thing it would be a boring place :)
We sear at the end but I like the softer texture and the even cooking level throughout.
Bought for $136 during the prime day sales and now it's even cheaper. Amazon don't credit price differences arghhh
Yeah, I made the same mistake too. But when I talked to the customer service, they agreed to give me a $12 Amazon gift card. Give it a try
I did try that before posting. My rep straight up refused and said to return and re-purchase. Will try again
Oh, that's too bad. I did it via an online chat, and luckily it worked.
@skskoz: Ok I tried again and got someone different this time. They didn’t have a problem and gave me $13 credit for some reason
@Mr Simple: That's good to hear. Ozbargain badge🏅 for you😁
For anyone with an instant pot, do you get errors if the food isn't placed with enough liquid around it? I have a Tefal Cook4Me and it's bloody annoying as it errors out when I overload it and fails to build pressure and triggers the pressure release vent.
They do give a burn error but I'd recommend googling and trying out 'instant pot pot in pot' method with your Tefal if you've got enough room?
We do our Yogurt and porridge pot in pot with the InstantPot.
I ordered this 2 days ago, at $135.95. Due to be delivered today. I contacted customer service on chat and said "I ordered this 2 days ago, yet to be delivered, and the price has since dropped. Instead of me returning and reordering, can I have the difference as a credit?"
managed to get $10.90 credit to my account, and told that this is not normal policy, and will be a once-off. The agent took a while to look it up as he was consulting a manager.
Hopefully helps someone else. Thanks OP. Bought one. My previous exact same model broke few weeks back. This turns out to be a better deal than 30% discount offered by the company as well as costco one.
Can someone explain the volume capacity definition of these things? I have a rice cooker that is rated as 1.8 L and can cook 10 cups of rice. These instapot ones says 3L and it doesn't even have half the capacity of my rice cooker.
This one says it's a 5.7 litre. That's the total volume of the pot, and you can fill it to 2/3rds full (there's a max line in the pot) so the usable volume is 3.8 actual litres.
How does the volume compare to those of rice cookers though? How come a rice cooker rated as 1.8 litre is bigger than these ones that are rated much higher volume?
I want to but the glass lid and extra pot but they have minimum quantities you need to purchase. For lid it's min 2 and for pot it's minimum 3! Why do they do that?

8L is also available for sale. I was trying to post a deal but got an error.
I got one of these yesterday (lucky for same price) and got an additional $20 off buying through the Amazon app.
I've had this exact model pressure cooker for a year or so and it's terrific. Use it almost every day. Bought the second one for my mum.
