From TA: Hi guys, finally finished my meetings. I'll try to answer some questions:

  • The 5000 signup cap was exhausted around 30 minutes ago however we've made the call to allow this to run until 23:59 AEST tonight (17/07/2024) at which time the offer will be void.

How it works?

  • 100% cashback at Amazon means that TopCashback will refund 100% cashback when new TopCashback members purchase any item valued up to $30 at Amazon.

  • E.g. Spend $29 on Amazon Echo Pop at Amazon and TopCashback will credit your TopCashback account with $29.00 cashback.

  • E.g. Spend $702 on Dyson V11 at Amazon and TopCashback will credit your TopCashback account with $30 cashback.

  • The 100% cashback offer at Amazon start date is the 16/07/2024 and the offer end date is 17/07/2024 23:59 (edited).

  • Purchases over $30 will receive a maximum of $30 cashback.

  • 100% cashback at Amazon deal is only available for new members or those with no previous purchases or cashback through TopCashback (including sign-up bonuses).

What will stop me getting cashback?

  • This offer can only be redeemed once per household on a first come first served basis. If a member applies for the offer from the same household as an already successful purchase, it will be declined.

  • Using a promotional or discount code not posted and approved by TopCashback.

  • Purchases of gift cards will make cashback ineligible.

What to do when?

  • Cashback earned in the 100% cashback at Amazon deal may track at a lower rate initially and will uplift within 14 days of the promotion end date.

  • If the transaction for the 100% cashback at Amazon deal does not appear in your account, you can submit a claim. Any claims for this cashback offer will only be open for submission 14 working days after the promotion has ended.

        • Hi. Not sure if tracking will work via the AU app to Amazon US. Have not tested it. It will work via desktop though provided you navigate from the AU website without copy/pasting links. You have to get there directly from AU.

    • If it doesn’t track, we lodge a claim with Amazon. If their analytics show attribution elsewhere due to use of a 3rd party plugin, our hands are tied. Hopefully it won’t come to that. Thanks.

        but how TCB decides which item get it? the highest value? mine somehow it tracks the lowest (2 items $27 and $9 - i got $9)

        • It’s the first item that Amazon pushes through to us via the API feed.

    • Mine also hasnt tracked correctly. I did get 2 items as I didn't see the single item requirement, but they've tracked as $0.10 and $0.22 respectively.

  • Hi @tightarse My tracking is incorrect. I purchased two items ($11.52 + $19.19 including gst), pending cashback amount are $11.52 + $0.58, respectively.

    Should be a total cashback of $27.9 pending, not $12.1.

          I know it's not the outcome you wanted, but how exactly do you feel cheated? The requirement was clearly stated on the landing page. Had you purchased just the one item, you'd be happily saying that it tracked as expected.

      The offer had a maximum of 5,000 redemptions on a first come first serve basis (in title and T&Cs). The 5000 limit was reached in about 1.5 hours after the deal was posted. TA had extended the offer for the rest of the day.

      I'm sure there will be other sign up offers from TopCashback and hopefully you will be able to get a similar offer.

    So is it 12 weeks or 14 days?

    • The 12 weeks is an 'estimation' based on the regular merchant terms. The promo terms supersede these so it will be around 14 working days, provided you purchased a single item. Others that reached out directly due to purchasing more than one item may need to wait beyond the 14 days. Cheers.
