$5 Bonus Cashback on $40 Spend at Amazon AU (All Categories, Single Transaction, Activation Required) @ TopCashback AU

4690

Hi everyone and happy Prime Day! If you haven't joined TCB, do so today to enjoy the most generous everyday cashback rates and a highest cashback guarantee!

For today’s deal, we have uncapped cashback on all categories ranging from 1-15% (as posted here) so no need to worry about which items are eligible for the bonus (see terms below for a few exclusions such as purchase of gift cards). Just make sure you first activate the bonus then clear your Amazon cart before clicking/tapping the pink cashback button from TopCashbackAU.

Thanks for your support as always 🙏
Stay safe, and enjoy 😊

Please read the following terms & handy tips carefully:

1. To participate in the $5 bonus cashback promotion, you must be a member of TopCashback.com.au and must first activate the bonus prior to making an eligible transaction at Amazon Australia.
2. After activation, transaction must be made between 00:00 and 23:59 AEST (16/07/2024).
3. The bonus is eligible on all Amazon categories, excluding purchase of gift cards, vouchers, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals, bulk orders, commercial or reseller purchases. Note: payments made with Amazon gift cards are eligible for the bonus.
4. Your order must be made in a single transaction and may contain more than one item, but the order total must be at least $40 (inclusive of GST). Sales may report to your account excluding GST so the amount shown may be less than $40 (this is ok). Multiple items in an order will report as separate items in your account (this is ok).
5. The bonus cashback will not appear in your TopCashbackAU account until your Amazon order tracks to your account, and will be payable once your Amazon order is payable. Amazon tracking is not instant, and typically takes 1-7 days to report.
6. The bonus cashback is over and above the advertised category cashback rates which still apply to the transaction.
7. Only one TopCashback.com.au account per person is allowed, and the bonus cashback is limited to one per TopCashbackAU member.
8. The bonus cashback may not automatically apply to purchases where a missing cashback claim needs to be lodged. If this is the case and your claim is successful, you may need to raise a separate support ticket to be awarded the bonus.
9. TopCashbackAU will not be held responsible for any technical failure or otherwise which prevents participation in this promotion.
10. Where a contradiction exists between the offer terms & conditions and TopCashbackAU terms & conditions, the offer terms & conditions take precedence until the offer expires. Purchase terms & conditions are available on TopCashbackAU's Amazon merchant page.
11. Any fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

Bonus is eligible for:

12. Items added to cart after clicking/tapping from TopCashbackAU.
13. Purchase of products paid with gift cards.
14. The first (new) Subscribe & Save order. Subsequent orders are ineligible.
15. Pre-orders, but only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.
16. Purchases from Amazon US/UK, provided you navigate & make the transaction via Amazon AU.

Bonus is ineligible on the following:

17. Purchase of gift cards, vouchers, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals, bulk orders, commercial or reseller purchases.
18. Purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.
19. Use of any promotional codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field.
20. Items added to cart prior to clicking from TopCashbackAU.
21. Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders (only first Subscribe & Save orders are eligible).
22. Items that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
23. GST, other taxes and delivery fees.
24. Fraudulent transactions.

Handy tips:

Amazon tracking typically takes 1-7 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant). For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from TopCashbackAU as tracking will be lost. TopCashbackAU must be your last click (not 3-Camels etc). Try our iOS/Android mobile app for great tracking results. Use our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

Seems to be better than most others (lower minimum spend and higher (1%) cashback rates), thanks TA!

  • -1

Thanks TA l, can you buy multiple items and checkout at once ?

    • +2

Your order must be made in a single transaction and may contain more than one item, but the order total must be at least $40 (inclusive of GST).

      I would say yes.

  • +8

Cashback companies are the only reason these Prime Days are worthwhile… Thanks TA!

  • Nice one. Good little sweetener given we cant use amazon credit.

  • Good bonus! Thanks TA

  • Purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.

Does this mean you can’t use gift card balance??

    • +4

Purchases paid with Amazon gift cards and Amazon gift card balance are fine. Amazon credit on the other hand is not. There's a distinction. Hope this helps 👍

      • Hi TA, if I've added an amazon gift card to my account balance, does this count as Amazon credit? I am wondering if it needs to be paid with gift card on checkout

        • +2

Hi, that’s fine. That counts as gift card balance. You can pay with gift card, gift card balance, or credit card and be eligible.

Amazon credit is different. It’s usually a bonus that Amazon gives you when they run promos on some gift card purchases, or on partial refunds for faulty items etc. Hope this makes sense.

@tightarse: Great response. Thanks for all your hard work <3

            • @HughinVestor: Enjoy the day :)

              • @tightarse: This is the type of service that ShopBack used to offer but now lacks since their mass layoffs.

                Well done.

                • +1

@arcticmonkey: Thank you, appreciate the kind words. I'm sure SB & CR have their reasons for laying low with reps, so it's unfair to comment further. All I know is I'm here to help and do the best I can. Almost time to call it a night however. Been a bloody long day!

                  • @tightarse: When it comes to SB, I suspect it's poor/inept decision making by executive management. They have kept their job while 20%+ have their lives disrupted through no fault of their own.

The mistakes SB is making with incorrect cashback amounts and complaints over poor service shows once again the result of poor decision making by executive management in in my view.

I don't think innocent people losing their jobs due to poor decisions by others is defendable.

          • @tightarse: Hi TA, I’m about to make a purchase, I plan to use gift card balance and debit card (mixed payment), does it qualify for cashback? Thanks!

            • @Pakpak: 100%. Just no Amazon credit. There's a difference :)

      • Hi TA,

Does the coupon redeemed on a product is deemed Amazon credit? I ask because it shows as Promotional credit at the checkout.

      • Just a side note… why on earth could you guys not have made it midnight WESTERN time? Gives everyone a few more hours…

  • A shame that books, games and electronics purchases aren't eligible for 10% cashback, but they are areas where Amazon is dominant.

  • -1

what about the coupon "20PRIME" offered by Amazon for Prime members? is that eligible for CB?

    • See item 19 in the OP. Thanks.

      • Use of any promotional codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field

I have the first app purchase $20 off, where I have redeemed the offer and it automatically applies at the cart, without manually entering anything. is that eligible?

    • Of course not eligible

  • +1

I have avoided topcashback…. Like not another one … but now TA involved might give it ago

    • +3

Thank you for your kind words, and welcome 🙏

    • Me too. Might be time to jump on board the tightarse train again

  • +1

Wish I saw this a bit after midnight when I made my orders. Was it posted on the website at the time?

    • too late to cancel the order and reorder?

      • Yup. Items now sold out.

        • probably better that you got it last night then, I'd rather have it than not!

  • Anyone find their APP glitchy. A few times I tried using it, it kicks me out of the shop and back to the TopCashBack screen.

    • Yep. Same here. On iOS.

      • @j1568 @sween64 Hi. I have iOS and can’t replicate. Do you have the latest version installed v11.0.1 (780)? Can you please try re-installing and let me know if the issue continues. Many thanks.

        • Only downloaded the app today. It happens when I navigate away from TCB and return. I was doing that to copy my Amazon password.

          • @sween64: Ah, now I see what you mean. So when you tap out to a store (eg. Target or Amazon etc), it 'refreshes' back to the merchant page on TCB if you close the app then reopen it. It could be expected behaviour and could be a good thing as it forces you to re-tap back to the store. But thanks heaps. Will flag this with the team in the UK and see what they say.

            • @tightarse: Also one minor thing, and it would help me from having to exit the TCB app is that the log in page doesn't provide a URI to the password manager.

              • +2

@sween64: Hi again @sween64 @j1568 Just spoke with the team in the UK and they're already aware of the bug. The aim is to have it resolved in release v11.0.3. Thanks again :)

Can this be stacked with spend $40 on qualifying items and save 5% Amazon offer?

  • +2

Can this be stacked on "Save $10 when you buy $40 of select items"? It's a promotion but there is no code entered …

  • Is there a cap on the 15% cashback amount on Amazon devices?

    • No cashback cap on any categories on Amazon via TopCashbackAU. Cheers!

  • It says 15% on devices and all other categories 10% is that correct. i thought all cat were 15%?

    • +1

Hi. Where are you seeing 15% on all categories please? The rates are in this post. Thanks.

      • Also which category "Laundry detergents" go in. shows Health and household in bold but no mention on Topcashback about this catagory

        • These are the categories & cashback rates (uncapped) on TCB today:

          • 15% - Amazon Devices (includes Echo, Fire TV & Tablet, Ring Security, Eero Wi-Fi, Kindle)
          • 10% - Home Improvement
          • 10% - Home
          • 10% - Sports & Outdoors
          • 10% - Kitchen
          • 10% - Furniture
          • 10% - Tools
          • 1% - All Other Purchases (some exclusions apply, see terms below)

As most laundry detergent falls under 'Health & Household" category, so would be 1% cashback.

      • Hey TA, this post says 15% uncapped on ALL categories but the link in the description gives different cashback rates for different categories. Which one is correct?

      • Hi TA, think this looked misleading -
"For today’s deal, we have up to 15% uncapped cashback on all categories"

        https://imgur.com/a/WuF2rDX

Hi. It says 'up to' in my sentence :)

          • @tightarse: Yes, but people don't read!
            Thanks for your efforts :D

          • @tightarse: Ahhh. Phew. Lucky clarified.

            • +2

@orly: @orly @Zoop I've slightly changed the wording in the OP for clarity. Hope this now helps to avoid all doubt. Cheers.

  • Simple Questions OP

Is there a limit how many transactions you can do with the 15/10% Amazon deal?

    Cheers

    • No limit on transactions (make sure you generate a new click each time), but only one bonus. The rates are listed here.

      • Thank you for clarifying and the speedy reply :)

  • Hi @tightarse love your work on here and got a question.

Q: I clicked 'redeem' on the zip promo code for $10 off if using zip pay as i was browsing some items. I no longer want to do this and want to use Top Cashback. If i remove all items from cart and not use zip pay, will cashback still track and work?

Also, would adding things to my 'save for later' and then adding them to my cart work? Thanks

    • +1

Hi and thank you. Should be no reason why it wouldn't work. However, I'd definitely be starting with an empty cart and not moving from the wish list to be safe. After you click from TCB, just search for the item you want and add it to your cart. Hope this helps.

  • Thanks op, made a $42 order

  • Automatically applied some promotional credit without me entering something. Please confirm cashback still eligable

    • Bonus is ineligible on the following:
      18. Purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.

    • You have to manually untick the "use promotional credit" tickbox when you check out

  • +1

Hi TA, can i pls confirm TCP APP click through to Amazon APP? Or is it meant to go to mobile browser?

    • +2

App2App is fine for Amazon. Cheers.

      • So if I spend $200, will I get 5 x $5 so $25 cashback?

        • No. Please read the terms. It's all there (item 7). Thanks.

  • -2

    Hi ta,

is it really important to clear the cart before clicking the link? I have tons of items on my cart.
with sb and cr, my purchases are still tracked.

    thanks

    • +1

Not sure why you'd risk it. The requirement is an Amazon one and nothing to do with cashback providers. If it worked via other publishers, perhaps you were just fortunate. Cheers.

      • hi ta,
as expected. all purchases are tracked. ta.

  • -1

    Hi,

Is it limited to new subscribers only for their 1st purchase?
Also can be used once only or for many subsequent transactions over $40 from the same account?

    Thanks!

    • +1

Is it limited to new subscribers only for their 1st purchase?

Wot? I assume you mean new TCB users, in which case no. Anyone can use this promo.

Also can be used once only or for many subsequent transactions over $40 from the same account?

Always good to read the terms. Have another read (and check the title) and let me know then.

  • Should the site normally appear under "My Visited Merchants" after making a purchase?

    • +2

Not necessarily, but it must show here. Please note this only lists the time/date stamp of the very last click you made to a merchant rather than all the clicks to that merchant. Cheers.

  • Hello, Would the cashback be applicable if you subscribe & Save 10%?

    • Yes, for the first S&S.

      Bonus is eligible for:

      • The first (new) Subscribe & Save order. Subsequent orders are ineligible.
      • +1

        Thanks

  • Thanks TA

  • Want to clarify if items shipped by Amazon but sold by someone else are covered?

  • Can order using Amazon app?

  • Hi TA, I paid $35 with gift cards and $5 with credit card, will I get the bonus ? Thanks

    • +1

All good to go (provided no Amazon credit was applied at checkout) 😉

  • App is glitchy as hell, I can’t even sign into my Amazon account without it refreshing back to TopCashback app again!

    • Please see this thread. We're aware of the issue . Cheers.

      • Ok thanks for the link to the post, I take it that it won’t be fixed by tonight, and thus I’ll miss out on the $5 bonus cashback on +$40 spend?

        • All good. Why not log in via your mobile browser instead of the app? Won't be fixed tonight for sure.

          • @tightarse: Ok will try this route, hopefully no issues tracking (yes, will follow all the t&c’s as I always do with all the cash back sites as a seasoned veteran, and as per previously when you were with Cashrewards 😎). Note this is the first time I’ve done a cash back with TopCashback, let’s hope it’s a good experience 🫡

            • +1

@AnDyStYLe: You know where to find me lol. If you're using iOS Safari, please turn off "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" in your iOS / Safari settings as it's known to cause tracking issues. Cheers.

  • Can you get the $5 bonus if you use 2x subscribe and save?

    • +1

Of course, provided they're both the first orders and not the repeats (hope that makes sense).

      • Would be good to understand what's classified as repeats. If I cancelled S&S previously the same item and now ordered them again with S&S, would be classified as first order?

        • Yes

        • +1

Yep, that's totally fine as it's a first order. It's the 2nd and subsequent ones that are ineligible. If you cancel S&S each time then reorder that same item over and over again, it's eligible each time. Hope I'm making sense as I'm starting to see double after a long day lol.
