  • Thanks!!

  • $13 on sale at Woolies.

    • +4

      Woolworths 1/2 price deal is $13.75 for a 16pk, this $10.59 Amazon deal is a 24pk.

      • Ah, fair enough.

  • Are these better than the Kodak Super Heavy Duty ones? I have bought some already, I may cancel the order to buy these.

    • +3

Kodak’s is rubbish, needs to replace the battery for my mouse more often than this.

      • Thanks.

Those are Super Heavy Duty (instead of Alkaline)

In general, Alkaline batteries are more powerful and will last longer in high drain devices.
Super Heavy Duty (SHD) batteries are better suited for low drain applications. They're also cheaper to make & therefore generally cheaper to purchase.

      • would you consider a wireless mouse as high drains ?

  • I have so many equipment damaged from leaking batteries. Hopefully this one does not leak.

    • +4

I have never had any Energizer leak but Duracell, you can jam where the sun dont shine. Have ruined a number of devices of mine so on my Never Buy list

Already got 16 eneloop pro yesterday, but thanks for sharing.

    • Different strokes for different folks

      • Variety is the spice of life

    • +2

alkaline and NiMH batteries both have their place

      • Where would you put alkaline batteries that you cant put NiMH batteries?
I have been using NiMH AA and AAA batteries for everything i own for like 20 years with no issues.

        • +1

Some devices don't like eneloop batteries. I have some sensor light where I have to use disposable batteries

        • The Oculus Rift S controllers :D

          • @kiska: Why can't you use rechargeables for them?
I have genuinely never encountered anything that doesnt run perfectly fine with them.

            • @lordezekiel: Not sure, my controllers just don't like it when the battery drops below 1.2V for some reason

    • Isn't that slightly more expensive (per battery) than this deal?

      • +1

Yes - But it's for those in the market for AA

        • +2

AAaah, sorry - I missed that.

  • $6.50 / 18 pack @Kmart (¢36 each) ~20% cheaper
