Damn it! Bought so much stuff yesterday :(

    • Same… but everything is still in pending status… so I am hoping that by activating the offer before the transactions clear they will be counted!

Great offer, I am not targeted again. Have never been targeted for these Amazon yello offers…

    • same. Never get anything useful

    • Same but that’s probably a blessing in disguise coz I emptied the clip yesterday lmao

    • Same

  • Can we buy Amazon GC ? Any terms and conditions 🧐

    • No mention of GC, just $100 Spend 🤔

      • Yeah, nothing mentioned about gift cards. I just placed the order. Hope the cashback will land soon

        • Can also get a $10 credit if you buy a $200 gift card

    • +1

It should work, CommBank can't see what you are buying on Amazon. Same goes for if you buy gift cards with their Coles cashback, which I've done before

    • Yes, just make sure you buy Amazon GC.
I had a previous offer spend $75 and get $10. I always spend $1 more on GC to make sure it tracks. CB just recognises the transaction at the retailer and not what was purchased.

  • Gift card???

damn I never seem to get the useful yello offers

  • late to the party

  • Definitely targeted , not on mine either

    • same, not on mine or partners

  • I don’t see why we can’t use this offer to purchase a gift card?

    • Did this last time.

  • Can some one confirm the wording of the promotion, please? does it mean I can spend $50 in two transactions to hit the $100 threshold? In the past (with AMEX), I had spent over $100 to qualify in one order but Amazon split them into separate transactions on my statement so didnt qualify

    • It says "one or more transactions"

    • I could be wrong but maybe its "one or more transactions" as Amazon tend to split the transactions if you purchase multiple items in the same order and each item is charged once they are shipped? Hope I make sense.

    • To be safe, $100 or more in one transaction. Its subheading says 'in one or more transactions' but under 'Eligibility' it says 'You must spend the required amount in one transaction unless stated otherwise'.

  • Wooo found it!
Good timing. 4 days to use!

  • What is the best way to sign up for CommBank yello?
I don't want to add to my list of hoop jumping that I already do for other banks. But if this is worth it, I should do it as a true Ozbargainer.

    • You don't sign up to it so much as qualify for it by doing a certain number of transactions a month with your card.

    • Honestly too many hoops for most, fees to avoid and need to wait a month after signing up before yello activates. Even spent 15 mins yesterday doing kyc on the phone, been with most banks churning and never done that.

Cancelling accounts sharpish after last $100 cashback on credit card.

  • Question for those that regularly use Yello: Are there usually worthwhile offers? I don't tend to use my CBA account enough to activate Yello. This is the first post I've seen that would've been good to have been targeted for.

I have used them a lot, I have had ones from JB Hifi, Coles, Pet Circle, Myer, David Jones etc. Some are really good eg. Spend $50 at Coles get $10 back

    • +1

I've claimed $90 in Cashbacks from Yello over the last 12 Months and most of those were for Fuel from Ampol

    • there have been quite a few good ones, though I seem to miss out of most. The only ones recently for me have been the JB HIFI, coles and the chemist warehouse cashback, 6 months disney+ channel.

  • +1

Damn not for me unfortunately. Need to check wifey’s!

  • So how do you know when it's tracked with Yello?

    • It will be confirmed as activated in your offers page. Yello just looks for the merchant on your statement to confirm. It is not like shopback which uses tracking codes.

  • Clutch thanks

I have yello but it's not in the offers tab to 'activate' if I just spent the 100 will I get it back?

    • I would wait, the offer expires on July 21st, it might appear tomorrow. If you purchase without activation you won't get it.

    • +1

      Nah

    • Reminds me of the guy that wanted his Amazon international shipping fee reimbursed because he didn't know how it worked.

  • Sweet!!

  • Can I also stack with ShopBack? Click through ShopBack to buy Giftcard using cba card?
