  The tips on these are extremely brittle. The lasercut tip grips extremely well, that part is very impressive. However, you will snap the tip using these on a screw that is even only slightly stuck. First time I used the largest philips screwdriver i snapped it by hand (wasnt doing anything stupid like using a second tool for extra leverage). I then switched to my old cheap screwdriver that I bought these to replace and undid the screw. These are weaker than even cheap Bunnings brands, even at below $30 they are not good tools.

    Maybe something went wrong with the hardening process with your batch - they certainly dont sound like they were performing to spec

      Not really sure, but there are many one star reviews showing the same thing (with pictures) over several different listings of Wera screwdrivers. I just assumed these were from people who had mistreated them and I didnt think it would be a legitimate issue. But sure enough, the same thing happened to my set after the first use. It does make me wonder if they are selling fakes or if Wera have a cheaper qualit line being sold through amazon
