How is the backup? Incase it gets very low to no sun for weeks?
Eufy says 3 months but users report somewhat less. If the mounted position isn't in sunlight you may consider one of the many battery cameras with a cable run to the solar panel. If you go battery-only you'll need to take the camera down for charging which is annoying.

Solar in vic is not very reliable, specially where i need this to be. After a good battery one. I will check this for sure
The solar charges an internal battery, otherwise it doesn't work at night.
All the solar 'powered' ones don't need much sun, even the Victorian sun would be enough to top up their batteries.
I usually give my solar ones (reolink argus eco and argus eco pro) a top up from a wall charger when first buying then then the solar panel just tops up when needed. My other two Argus 2 I just have plugged into the wall 24x7.
Define "not too expensive"
We have been buying and installing a couple of Eufy S120s around our place and family members - acquired for about $190 off Amazon a couple of months ago. Can't really fault them for the price, solar powered, wireless, weatherproof, night motion flood light (surprisingly bright), easy to install and a user friendly app.
How is the battery backup? We are in victoria and house get low sun where I want the camera to be.
They all only ever get a maximum of half a days sun. We have had no issue with the battery, even with the floodlight on full strength, motion detection on the shortest response time possible, and multiple triggering events over night.
DYOR but I’m happy with my imou cell solar powered cams , there are many smaller brands who offer cheaper solar powered cams on Amazon, eBay, and Ali express - comes down to your actual requirements and budget.
I have Eufycam 2c pro (2k resolution) with solar panel, never need to charge manually. I got 2 cameras + homebase 2 for $225 from eufy refurb store from a previous deal
i got Eufy 3 cam x 4 pack, almost 1 year now never had to charge them. Also got Eufy 2k dual video door bell and Eufy E330 wired 24/7 camera all connected to Eufy Home base 3 backup to a 1TB SSD
