        got them today, quick postage. the suede part seems to be the havy blue heel tab and strip that runs down the heel. the rest is leather. Quality amazon listing strikes again

  I bought a pair of Carnaby EVO a couple years ago and the leather became unglued from the inner fabric leaving ugly creases and pockets on the inner side of the shoe. Not the first pair of Lacostes I've owned but this was definitely the crappiest quality wise (also the most recent I bought). Amazon gave me a refund and let me keep them.

      In my experience the quality issues is with their recent stuff. Lacoste shoes I bought 10yrs ago were good, and still are.

      OR

      it could just be where Amazon sources their products. Bought the wife a pair of Carnaby from Lacoste web store and those were fine, she wore them into the ground, ones I got years later from Amazon had the ungluing problem after the first wear. Could've been a one-off dud I suppose.

  Got a pair, my god these are soooo comfy. Have some Tommy Hilfiger shoes similar to these and these are 200 time better. Thanks OP!
