Donald Trump was shot.

I don’t care what your political views are but the hate for Trump and his supporters has gone too far.

People are terrified to admit they support Trump. I’ve been scared myself.

Americans shouldn’t live in fear.

I support Trump. Many at Sticker Mule do.

Many at Sticker Mule also support Biden.

The political hate needs to stop.

Hopefully this email helps.

Btw, this week, get 1 shirt for $4 (normally $19).

I suggest buying one that shows you support Trump.

The more people realize that millions of kind-hearted, compassionate people support Trump, the sooner the hate will end.

Awesome people, all over the world, love Trump. Don’t limit your friendships and diminish your happiness by indulging in political hate.

Vocalize your support. Stop the hate.

Anthony Constantino
Cofounder, Sticker Mule

              • @langitbiru: Interesting, i'll have to get a design and try to resume one of them. I'll come back once I do.

              • +1

@langitbiru: You are correct. You've got 30 days for Promo offers. Otherwise they cancel the order.

    • +3

My recent ones have been cancelled after 1 month (without uploading a design), with no prior warning. A bit annoying.

    • +1

Create multiple accounts using me phone numbers from all those mobile sim deals.

      • How many simultaneous orders on seperate accounts have you guys made without getting banned?

        • I've only used 2 accounts, to get those $1 sticker packs. Didn't want to abuse the offers

      • +1

Reason why companies shouldn't bother doing something good and give back in a way.

        • +3

Multiple accounts is just showing the company how much we love Trump!

          • +2

Can someone please explain to me as an Australian, why you support Trump and what that even means?

I mean you can't actually vote for him.

Edit: Good deal though. Are the prints really plasticy if you know what I mean, like non breathable don't bend properly with the fabric?

    • +13

I suppose they think that US politics has an influence on Australia and the world so form a choice based on the the perceived impact of either candidate winning.

      • +20

But which of Trump's policies will benefit Australians? I thought he was quite protective of American industries and that could only hurt our export position?

          • +1

            @Spendmore:

There was forecasts of doom and gloom last time he got in that didn't eventuate.

I mean, yes, they did. Look at the Supreme Court, for the most recent, most visible example of the rot set in during his term.

There's a list hundreds of items long in similar vein. Remember the "I don't care, do u?" shirt?

    • -3

I support Trump as Australian because he is anti- war and pro- sovereignty.

Through ties to the USA, Australia has contributed to many of the incredible invasions, war crimes and political interference in the 30+ documented countries that the USA has invaded, that has lead to tens of millions of deaths + economic impact. This trend continued under Biden (eg. Ukraine escalation) who also forced Australia into more military aggression with AUKUS.

I hope this violent imperialism will decrease again under Trump.

      • +48

Trump loving Putin (amongst other dictators) and letting him stomp Ukraine isn't something to be proud of. Just because he directly didn't start some other war doesn't mean he deceased anything.

Let’s review the record. Despite inveighing against “endless wars,” Trump massively escalated the country’s existing wars in multiple theaters, leading to skyrocketing casualties. In Afghanistan, he substantially upped the amount of airstrikes, leading to a 330 percent increase in civilian deaths. In Yemen, he escalated both U.S. counterterrorism activities and support for the devastating Saudi-led war against the Houthis. According to the United Kingdom’s Bureau of Investigative Journalism, there were 2,243 drone strikes in just the first two years of Trump’s presidency, compared with 1,878 in the entire eight years of the Obama administration.

Trump also came very close to tweeting the country into a nuclear war with North Korea in late 2017 and early 2018, a completely self-inflicted incident that seems to have been bizarrely memory-holed. Trump “didn’t merely threaten to attack North Korea if it possessed the ability to strike the U.S.,” wrote the Intercept’s Jon Schwarz. “He ordered the Pentagon to develop new plans, over the resistance of then-Secretary of Defense James Mattis, to do so.” According to former Pentagon official and Asia security expert Van Jackson, who wrote a book about the crisis, “The world was closer … to nuclear war, at that time than any time, since the Cuban Missile Crisis. And it was totally avoidable.”

In 2018, Trump bowed to Washington’s neoconservative hawks and withdrew from a working nonproliferation agreement with Iran, resulting in Iran scaling up both its provocative activities in the region and its nuclear program. According to current U.S. assessments, Iran could now make enough fissile for one nuclear bomb in under two weeks, should it decide to do so. Under the agreement Trump abandoned, it would’ve taken Iran at least a year.

The list goes on: Trump put the U.S. on a path to “great-power competition” with China, incited a failed coup in Venezuela, and increased support for reckless, repressive clients around the world. Indeed, Trump was seen as such a dangerous interventionist that Congress passed the first war powers resolution in history to try to end his support for the Yemen war. Less than a year later, Congress passed a second resolution to brush him back from a potential war with Iran after he OK’d the assassination of Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Commander Qassem Soleimani. Both measures passed with Republican support, making opposition to Trump’s militarism one of the very few areas of bipartisan agreement during his administration. - (By Matthew Duss, the executive vice president at the Center for International Policy.)

      • +43

This narrative that Trump is anti-war is such nonsense.

        • +5

He's anti-war, which to him means that if his mate Putin wants to invade another country then we should absolutely let him rather than fighting back in any way.

        • -6

I believe he is challenging the main beneficiaries of current conflicts.

        • +11

Trump is pro Trump. End of story. That's until extent of his politics. And whatever gets the most attention, good or bad.

      • +6
      • pro- sovereignty

Means he will not come to our aid as America has before, if it all kicks off again.

        You know that, right?

    • +2

Prints are very good quality, shirts are too

    • Are you asking OP?

    • +2

Exactly. It's kind of… odd… It makes no difference to American politics if you support or don't support Trump.

I guess if you care about issues that affect the whole world and require all countries to contribute if we're to have any hope of a workable solution (like climate change for example), then the US president in power will make a big difference.

Personally, I'm pretty disappointed to see Trump talking about wanting to unite their seriously polarised country and tone down the calls for violence one day, then turning around the next and whipping up similar stuff the next day.

I agree, the assassination attempt was reprehensible but Trump and his mates can't claim with a straight face that anyone did more than them to foment political violence in the US.

    • -5

Have you seen Biden? My goodness.

    • -1

I have nephews that I'd rather not see sent to die by our own servile government when the American uniparty inevitably decide they need a new profitable permawar. Trump doesn't start wars, he ends them. That's one of the reasons why they hate him so much.

Australian political interests are well aware that I can vote for them, and that I will vote for whomever is the most MAGA supporting candidate possible. It's the same reason they're paying attention to Reform in the UK and Rassemblement National in France and the like. Sentiment doesn't magically stop at borders like voting does.

    • +24

FFS. OP quoted the email they received.

    • +5

He's sending a message to cool things down a bit and to stop the hate. Hardly a lecture. Plus it's a great deal.

    • -4

I think that was his point? Didnt look like he was for Trump.

      • +5

        I support Trump.

Guys i have no affiliation with Trump or Biden or USA.
I am just posting the deal and the email content that came with it.

    Please don’t shoot Tr… messenger.

    First post, long time lurker.

    • +4

      Thanks.

    • -6

But why post that far right spew at all? Doesn't have anything to do with a low quality T-Shirt deal - its just american political bullsh*ttery. Just delete the offensive statements and if you want/need to say anything for people's moral decision, just say the owner is a far right loony and leave it at that.

      • +3

Mate, calling support for a political candidate 'far right spew' is a bit silly. Change the name mentioned to Joe. Would that be 'far left spew' to you? Of course not.

        • -2

Frankly your, and OzBargain's, partisan political position on behalf of an american far right criminal is disgusting.

This entire post needs to go, and apologies provided.

The cretinous vote brigading we see, without any reaction from the admins, brings the site into disrepute.

          • +4

@sane: Sane? Not so sure. Can’t someone have an opinion opposing yours without the forlorn hysteria? Scroll on champ, don’t be a keyboard warrior.

          • -3

@sane: For real, I'm just stunned right now.

          • -2

@sane: Brigading is by design. Upvotes are unlimited. Down are not. When you go to them about horrific posts staying up, their response is "We LeT ThE coMmUnItY DeCidE". Same with regards to known scamming companies that run riot on here, delaying delivery months, etc etc.

They do not care. They just want the traffic.

    • +3

The thing that has people pissed is that sticker Mule used their business mailing list to send out a political message, with a tacky support Trump tshirt deal. They also in that email falsely pushed the narrative that the so called Democrats violent rhetoric was responsible for the attempted assassination on Trump, Plus the Co founder ( Anthony Constantino) is a douche like Elon Musk, who thinks because he's a tech bro, he's smart and also funny. Just read the official companies response to people on X about the post, to see how full of himself this guy is. This and other questionable business practices, such as underpaying workers and accusations that they use your artwork without permission or compensation, to train their inhouse design AI tool, is why I unsubscribed and cancelled my account. Sometimes the cheapest cost for something shouldn't be your only consideration.

      • +1

Yeah, I agree. Hate when businesses bring politics into business, it just does not need to be there.

  • +23

I don’t care what your political views are but the hate for Trump and his supporters has gone too far.

Trump and ilk have been spewing hate for the past ten years. There's a lot more far right and Nazism coming out. Nice to know that the line is when Trump gets shot at.

    • +21

It has a certain "I never thought the leopards would eat MY face" ring to it

    • +2

      Hate vs hate huh?

      • +6

It's funny that the shooter was a registered republican. Maybe he was trying to take out a pedo, who knows?

        • +5

I cant keep up, i thought it was Hillary's lot that were the pedos?

          • +3

@Spendmore: In the basement of the pizza shop, right? It seems like a lot of projection from the USA right

            • +2

@Caped Baldy: Haha yeah thats the one.
              Typical tin foil hat theories.
I wonder which side is the lizard people, or is that the royal family?😅

    • +6

Who would ever have thought these leopards would eat MY face!?

    • +2

Trump and ilk have been spewing hate for the past ten years.

Yeah it does seem pretty shitty that only now the CEO uses the businesses mailing list to send this out. Could have been asking for this since Trump started campaigning really.

  • +3

The discussion on Twitter is interesting to say the least https://x.com/stickermule/status/1812280776362168539?t=bDlMP…

    • Yeah wouldn't want to be in the Yankees shoes right about now.

  • +7

    Only white? No black?

    • That's all I seem to be able to add.

    • +4

Seems on brand for the cofounder.

    • +1

      It's a metaphor hahaha

  • +25

Support Trump? Support Biden? What about getting some custom T-shirts to support OzBargain?

    • +6

No one has taken shots at OzB yet though. Except Gerry.

    • +2

      Scotty 2024

      • +1

Ah, yes. ScuMo, the far more dorky aspiring dictator. Good mate of Trump's (or so he tells his Mum). I'd forgotten about him.

He liked to carry on about people getting shot, too. Remember his 'unique' way of celebrating the March4Justice (protesting violence against women) women - sharing some very observant commentary on the triumphs of Australian democracy?

The best he could do was 'if you were marching for your right to be protected from violence in other countries, you'd be shot'.
And, 'gee, we should be grateful that we are in a place that you don't get shot for protesting'…

So tone deaf it's not funny.

        • +1

Oh ew, I didn't mean Scotty from Engadine…

  • -5

I thought this was ozbargain not ozpolitics

    • +5

Tell that to the CEO who’s probably forcing the marketing person to include this as part of their email.

  • +13

    Gina portrait shirt time.
