I believe this is the cheapest this monitor has ever been.
Fantastic monitor if you're after a high hz 4K monitor without having to deal with any potential burn in from OLED's, I own the 240hz version and love it.

Overall I would recommend this over an OLED as there's less faffing about with subpixel layouts and babying Windows so it doesn't burn in, but that's personal preference. As with all Samsung monitors YMMV with the quality control on this, but it is in general a solid mid to high-end HDR monitor. Especially if you want to use it for work and gaming as it won't burn in like the OLEDs.
Some drawbacks.
* The 2000nits advertised peak brightness is bunk (it hovers around 1200 in real world use)
* Full screen bright scenes in HDR don't seem to get anywhere near as bright as my old Predator x27. OLEDs have this problem too.
* Viewing angles are not great. Not necessarily for colours but the backlight zone bloom gets pretty egregious off-axis (it's barely noticeable straight on, even in high contrast scenes). It's curved too, which adds to the fun.
* Overdrive and VRR don't seem to gel. Thanks! JB were willing to price match to can get an extra $30 off with the perks code.
Subtle epeen flex?
