Slightly cheaper than last years $124.17
760 pages. Currently 68% off RRP of $380.

I already have this from last year but others that caught my eye and subsequently purchased include:

and there is also the follow up of Metal…

  • $142.35 Death Metal 968 pages
    47% off RRP$270 and ~$166 elsewhere

I did not buy Death Metal, but I did grab a copy of the following softcover for a bit of nostalgia from Amazon Au that's supposedly arriving tomorrow:

Note: %off and RRP is what is shown on the Amazon listing.
Prices I've listed from elsewhere as a comparison are from quick Google search and do not include delivery

FREE International delivery from Amazon US

I thought the prices were pretty good for under 10c/page in a Hardcover format.

I'm sure there are other good deals on other Hardcover Omnibuses that are not Batman related, but I know what I like and I am already looking forward to having a lot of re-reading to do to remind myself of the free time I used to have as a youth when I first read these comics.

Alternatively, save yourselves several hundred bucks and borrow them from your library. I find that they have a more than decent collection of comics, both mainstream and independent.

  • Aaargh. Must say no…

Both are also part of the additional 6% off promotion if you buy 2 items from the list.

  • From this list what are your must haves?

    • TBH, all of these are comics that came out after I stopped collecting individual issues, so I have not read them other than the Nightwing paperback I listed. So I cannot really comment. I stopped collecting just before the Zero year/52 reboot as I did not like the writing just prior to the reboot and could not be bothered to continue.

A few commented last year that Metal was a really good read. I still have not made the time to binge it yet (more so to lose myself in the story and appreciate the artwork)

For me, although I do have the individual issues, i'd love to grab the Knight Fall/Quest/End series and Contagion (showing my age here) and I have been patiently waiting for them to come down to a more reasonable price. Hush is also a good read.
