    amazing deal, I have last year's C745 and it's the best TV I've ever had (including plasma, Panasonic, Sony X90, etc), amazing blacks, brightness, clean Android, etc. Just set it to Movie mode, disable all the crap enhancements and be happy

      Sony X90 what? X90J? X90K? X90L is held in pretty high regard even over C845.

        Generally speaking, Mini LED > FALD for black uniformity and blooming. However, if it were my choice, I would take Sony's superior local dimming algorithm any day over a TCL but each to their own. It ultimately comes down to your budget.

          Yes that was exactly my point. Most enthusiasts have all agreed on Sony's superior local dimming algorithm as well as image processing, while TCL 845 of last year had blooming, some complained about some sort of motion issue depending on content, as well as firmware issues.

    this just doesn't compare to the c845 which I've seen go for $1600ish 75"

      When you seen the price down to $1600 on the 75' c845? Checking history been ~2k and more. This is the new model so don't think drop very fast but eventually yes should.

      They're both mini led. c845 has better contrast, more dimming zones, but worse processor

      Both are great TVs… this deal on the c755 comes with a soundbar.
