$11 ticket vouchers redeemable directly at hoyts website or app before 15 Aug 2024

Booking fee - 1.70$ (for all screens)
Xtreme screen upgrade - 5.5$

This voucher is redeemable for one (1) general admission ticket for one (1) adult:

for any session (except Saturday and Sunday from 2pm onwards, and public holidays) at HOYTS cinemas in Australia (see website for more details)
for any D-BOX, 3D, Samsung Onyx, Lounge and/or Xtremescreen movie session with an upgrade fee, which will be applied at time of redemption
and is valid until the expiry date indicated and cannot be exchanged, extended or replaced
If redeemed at HOYTS.com.au, both the voucher number and PIN are required to be entered. Booking fees will apply. HOYTS must approve in writing any material which includes reference to ‘HOYTS’ or ‘HOYTS CineVoucher’.

This voucher cannot be:

redeemed and/or upgraded for HOYTS LUX or HOYTS Daybed
redeemed for special or group events
redeemed on public holidays
redeemed at affiliated cinemas in Australia (see website for more details)
used to purchase 3D glasses. 3D glasses must be purchased separately at an additional cost
used in conjunction with any other offer
replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged
used to purchase any pre-paid movie vouchers, gift cards or HOYTS Rewards memberships
exchanged for cash and change will not be given irrespective of cinema pricing
used and/or sold by a person or company as an incentive for a third party to purchase other goods or services or be incorporated into an offer by that person or company for a third party to purchase other goods or services without the prior written consent of The HOYTS Corporation Pty Limited.

    I don't really go to the movies so maybe someone can explain to me why a booking fee would be 50% of the ticket price?

    Seems outrageous….even going beyond Ticketek levels of fee gauging

    $5.50 Booking fee PER TICKET kills this deal completely.

    Lots of other ways to get $11-12 tickets if you're members with different groups like NRMA, BUPA, employment unions etc.

      That is for xtreme screen, which is the same for any other hoyts vouchers. Even the free despicable me 4 tickets I got from uber one had that too

      Booking fees only apply online and apply regardless of where you obtain the tickets from.

    Events cinema's booking fee for the standard seat is only $1.65. However buying through Telstra Plus, not only I got the discounted ticket, there was no booking fee.

    Good deal, but I think you're confusing people saying there's a $5.50 booking fee for Xtreme screen. The booking fee is only $1.70 (same as for normal sessions, and as others have mentioned, can be avoided by buying at the box office / candy bar).
    The rest is an upgrade fee for Xtreme screen (since Xtreme screen sessions are more expensive than regular sessions).

    Be careful with Shopback cashbacks. They are becoming less honorable and you can only claim a missing cashback at some arbitrary time no earlier and no later than 7-30 days from point of sale. You can't trust that they will honor it just because it tracked and all the terms were met. I specifically bought something because of it's cashback, it tracked correctly in my shopback account but shopback didn't register the sale. I reached out to @gotyourback but they said because it's beyond 30 days they decided they don't want to make it right.

      I think you have to use the app on your phone. Search for Hoyts and it should come up.

      No. You can buy multiple vouchers. It’s $11 each. Look for “Hoyts $11 Adult Ticket” in the title. There’s another that’s $15.95 with the title “Hoyts Adult eVoucher”.

        Yeah I bought 4 vouchers on the 16th. Went to use them to book a session on that day and only 1 worked. I went into Hoyts and asked why they weren’t working and was told they’ve been redeemed. I asked when as I had only just purchased them and was told 3 days prior. He saw the receipt dated 16th and said he couldn’t do anything and to get in touch with shopback. I’ve lodged a dispute with shopback waiting for a response..just a total waste of time.
