    3 of my extended-family members went to the local core dental. They were extremely thorough, and we were all happy with the treatment… But 100% like you say. They found things that needed doing within a week, and gave suggested dates they should fix them.

  The $75 deal is for a check with x-rays, NOT for a comprehensive checkup and clean, right?

  If just 013 and 2*022, $75 is hardly a steal…

      013 is a limited examination, generally used for one specific problem - e.g., you came in because you had a toothache, they will examine the area and identify which tooth it might be, then focus almost exclusively on managing that one tooth. Some dentists might be "nice" and have a brief look around the rest of the mouth (as treatment decisions really should be made holistically, not just with respect to one tooth).

      2 by 022 is 2 individual intraoral xrays and the interpretation of said films.
