Just a reminder deluxe Tim tams have less servings than normal packs (8 instead of 11) and less servings than deluxe had last year (9 now 8).

    • Unfortunately only 8 biscuits in the deluxe range. I zoomed in on the image.
How many did they have last year - was it 9?

As a comparison, the original & dark have 11 biscuits. The others have 9 biscuits in the pack.

After much feedback from our incredibly passionate and loyal customers, we're delighted not to announce that we've adjusted serving sizes to match an increasingly complicated supply chain and inflationary market forces with increased prices but still with the same flavours that you all love so much. Arnott's: delighting consumers for 157 years and wholly not Australian owned

      • Total BS.

Flavors changed, grab a pack that expires before december 2024 and one that expires in 2025.

Hi Australia, thanks for helping make Arnott's the choice for premium branded snacks and treats. We've listened to your valuable feedback and improved our proudly Australian manufactured but wholly not Australian owned and profitable lines to broaden our incredibly loyal and very passionate customer base by updating and improving the same recipes you already love with our industry leading customer driven outcomes. You'll love it, Australia ❤️

  • Fully coated digestives? How have I never heard of these before?

    • They are fairly new here and have 8 biscuits in the packet. Worth trying at half price :)

Is this what the rich people of Australia eat, Deluxe Tim Tams? This where my rent money is going!?

Double coat are now classed as deluxe? That's outrageous! Only 8 in a pack now? Even more outrageous! I might have to stop buying them (nah).

I just buy Aldi Just devines. They taste similar. I feel that it was more than $2.75 though.

Plus the ALDI ripoff has the added bonus of no squashed bugs!

The Aldi biscuit was a favourite among testers who have less of a sweet tooth. It has less sugar but more sodium per biscuit compared to the Arnott's biscuit, which might explain why.

38.67% of CHOICE taste testers preferred the Aldi biscuit.
26.98% of CHOICE taste testers thought the Aldi biscuit was the original Tim Tam.
6.35% said they couldn't tell which biscuit was which.

Just realised it's in other items too. I don't know what the other brands are.

*In Australia, the cochineal is used in a variety of everyday products including savoury sauces, flavoured milk, confectionary, cake, dip, desserts, ice cream and yoghurt."

      • I hope they warn vegetarians about that, if not, lame.

    • Only in the Triple Choc. It was the first thing I checked.
Dark Choc Raspberry is likewise untainted, but 'unavailable'. 😥
