I’d half consider a part time weekend job at Aldi purely to horde all the lamb and spinach gozleme. Always sold out at my two local Aldis smh

Interesting how you don't get discount for grocery items working at Aldi, considering you get 5% at both Coles and WW.
Yeah from what I've heard, they said they're the most competitive with pricing for groceries, so they can't offer that to staff
In case you don't know this already… staff benefits present an FBT compliance issue. So it comes down to how well resourced employers are in taxation matters. I worked for an SME who chose to minimise non-compliance risk by offering nothing other than Xmas party catering and length of service awards. Other employers offer discounts and various other perks but you'll find they're pretty much capped to limit the FBT liability.
Or you work for a company who doesn't care about FBT.
