Need a Cheap Optus Reseller

So with Telstra shutting down 3G, my Xperia will not make calls on a 4g connection with them as they block volte for my phone.

I just tested an Amaysim connection (Optus) and that works fine over volte with my phone. So I am looking for a cheap plan from an Optus reseller, I haven't tried Vodafone yet but I believe theirs works but can't confirm just yet.

It can have minimum data but I would like unlimited calls/txt as it is my primary number but I have a work eSim I use for data. Is this basically my best option to set and forget, as I don't want to SIM hop.

This plan would be perfect for your situation.

That deal was marked as expired but the plan is still being offered by Amaysim.

    • Thanks for that, I suppose I would like some small amount of data on the plan as well just as backup. I guess I can pop on $10 for 1gb on that plan too. My other question was it says for existing customers only. I want to transfer my main number across, the only Amaysim service I have currently is just a test random number.

buy $2 sim, or 28-day 10gb for $10 with $9.85 TopCashback, to transfer number, then change to that zero data plan once finished?

    • No its not being offered by Amaysim at all
The deal with withdawn from sale December 2023

here are the current long expiry plans being offered by amaysim
      (not cheap any more unfortunately)

      • Read bottom half of that post.

This plan is definitely still available providing you have an existing plan.

        • +1 unexpired, marked to be long term - thanks :)

If you can test Vodafone, Kogan Mobile has a 120GB yearly plan for only $99 https://www.koganmobile.com.au/

  • I can't get why Telstra limit devices using VoLTE, which those devices work well on Optus VoLTE.

    • Preaching to the choir here !
