same with samsung watches. property wireless charger. they dont even make the charger separate so we can plug in our usb c for example. we need to carry the charger with the cable attached on it
To make things worse the battery life is terrible(~1-2 day), so you need to charge it constantly.
IMO, even with wireless charging available like pixel watch 1 you will still need to carry the charger cable anyway and not sure if many people will use reverse charging on their phone for the daily charging when travelling?
I mean it's easy to find a wireless charger than finding a pogo pin charger in public. Just in case of emergency it always helps
When travelling I use it pretty frequently to keep the pixel buds charged up. Would be handy to be able to do the same thing with the watch. I get it's a bit gimmicky but it is useful.
Any thoughts over getting this via here, Amazon AU Prime versus grey import places?

Assuming PW3 is also being announced next month along with the Pixel 9 series, I'd wait. I like my PW2, but if I was in your position, I'd be waiting as well
PW3 is rumored to have a bigger size and battery but price tag will likely to be double as well.

pixel 3 will come in 2 sizes, so many will be offloading their pixel 2 soon, so more expect price drops in a month.
Still don't understated why they went with pogo pin charging. Pain to carry charger when travelling. While pixel phones support reverse wireless charging.
If its related to fast charging, galaxy watch 6 supports fast wireless charge up to 45 percent in 30 mins
While pixel 2 watch charge 30 minutes to 50%
