    This looks to be the newer Airwrap.

    I have the Airwrap long, it comes with an additional leather box and 2 brush attachments. If you think those 3 additional items are worth the extra $200 (average sale price is around 650). If you were to buy them separately, the brushes vary from $50 - $100 depending on whether you've selected the older Airwrap model attachments.

    Personally, I would buy the box + a smoothing brush for $150 from Dyson or go find them on marketplace.

    I use the curling barrels (long ones are great), the smoothing brush and the pre-dryer. I have waist length wavy hair.

      Former Dyson rep here, same as the Airwrap long multi-styler, just has less accessories.

        Hi, we have the very original Airwrap but it has been playing up, turns off after a few mins of use.
        Would the box and attachments from that work with this model?

          @Hashstrid: Yes the attachments are all compatible and sold by Dyson.
          Recommend adding the machine to the MyDyson app as this will have maintenance and troubleshooting videos. I assume you’ve been on top of cleaning the filter regularly?

        I heard that some models require you to remove the attachment or some piece in order to change the direction of air while the newer ones don't ? Its as simple as clicking a button ?

        Do you know which one this falls under ?

          @Chh: That’s the curling barrels. The old one had arrows telling you what direction they curled in. The new has a nub/nipple thing you twist at the top which changes the direction of airflow
