When commenting on a Forum post, my phone's spell checker is not activated. Since I'm using my thumbs on a tiny keyboard, you can imagine I get a lot of spelling errors. Not having auto-correct gets frustrating.
Is this a setting on my Pixel phone, a setting the website's administrator can change, or what?

When you want to put comments from an android phone and Gboard is showing up, you can tap top right of Gboard (microphone icon) and then speak. The words will show up. Maybe better than you type manually on the keyboard.

My samsung always autocorrects "Pokemon collection" to "Dick Pic". It's got me in trouble a few times…..I can tell you!

If it is working for you in other apps check your browser settings or change your browser.
Check your Gboard > text correction settings.

Maybe they should look under the bonut and can advice if there is something brake, or it's just another scam 🤔

Gboard/Swiftkey… Modern spell check on phones kinda suck now, Idk how it even got this bad. You're better off just proof reading your own text these days.
