  Last couple of intel gens has being shit for laptops.
  I expect anyone buying new would go snapdragon or wait for next gen

    You would only go Snapdragon at the moment if you want an expensive Chromebook equivalent. Plenty of issues with compatibility for x86 apps and Hardware. Also they talked up the AI running locally, but the apps still aren't there.

    Have a look at the YouTube video from Level 1 Techs as to how bad it is for Snapdragon X and software development at the moment.
