I had my eye on this, but was waiting for my current plan to get closer to expiry before porting. They’ve been removed. Anyone holding onto existing starter packs should activate before September 3.

  • Try BigW for the $2 sim.

Had some there when I walked past the stand this week.

  • Ported from Belong to the $170 annual E.M.plan

$14 a month -less any discount from monthly shop @ woolies.

[ Belong went up to $21]

Can confirm it's still working, found a $2 simcard at Woolies and took about 30mins to activate the $170 365 plan.

    • Legend - hoping to do the same tomorrow!

  • Is there a way to buy eSIM online and activate it on the old $170 pre-paid deal?

    • Have you checked their website?

New plans are out.. 10% off monthly shop removed for all long expiry plans and $250 for 215gb. Yuck. I wonder how long we will be grandfathered for.

    • +3

yeah now the plans are more expensive ($80 increase)

woolworths 10% off + $170 (original $150) was the reason people chose WW mobile

this is not good at all..

      • +2

I was expecting more money for more GB but removing the 10% off as well is a kick in the balls

        • If you recharge via direct debit, you will not lose the 10%

    • -2

10% off monthly shop removed for all long expiry plans

      It's still showing on mine.

    • These new plans are insulting… As long as my 10% in grandfathered in… I'll stay but not much point now is anyone signing up. the $25 / 30 day is the new sweet spot but still… no where near a good as what it used to be

      • does 10% off woolworths shop still work for you?

        am on grandfathered
        tried and it not working..

        • Good question.. I have been meaning to check… Will try in the next 48 hours and let you know

@jlv: Working for me- you needed to set up automatic recharge thing before a certain date which I did. 10% off Woolworths shop worked for me today

        • Worked yesterday

  • 10% off removed for new plans

  • Well knock me over with a feather. For once, here is a telco company actually rewarding customers for their loyalty. Very grateful! The $170 plan was/is very very good value in my books.

  • What is the best long expiry mobile plan now?

  • Just wishing to confirm as per Woolworths Mobile customer service that if you have a Woolworths Mobile 10% discount and recharge it via a direct debit payment then you will get to retain your 10% discount offer after your recharge.

    • what if we are not due for a recharge until a few months from now

do we currently still get 10% off shop or do we lose it until we recharge again?

I tried in the store and the wouldn't do the 10% off for some reason

  • Anyone's $170 long expiry plan grandfathered in recently? Do you still get 10% off monthly?
My plan expires end of this month and im hoping to find out if ill still get 10% off monthly before i let it auto recharge..

  • +1

Just wanna say they didn't honour my grandfathered plan, even though I had auto recharge setup.

Support person said it's because the $170 plan doesn't exist anymore or whatever.

I'll try get them back again tomorrow

    • Did you have any luck? Did it work again for you?

  • I have a dilemma. I'm on a grandfathered plan with the 10% off your shop, auto recharge setup and all good right now, but my credit card is expiring and I can't update the details without cancelling everything and forfeiting my grandfathered plan.

Anyone had this and found a way around it?

    • I'm in a slightly different scenario where I did not have auto-renew turned on, but want to remain and turn it on. I contacted them and they flat out said no as it is a discontinued plan. Would love to hear feedback from anyone who has successfully re-enabled autorecharge or in your case, adding new CC details.

I've tried to research whether it is lawful for them to prevent an existing user from recharging the existing plan/service and have seen many that claim it is not lawful however can't find a reputable source to confirm this.

      • there is probably in their TOS that allows them to change the rules..
it is gonna be hard to just argue with their support workers,,

Go read their TOS to see what it says
and you will need to look at legal services (free or paid) if you want to take it further

Time to move to another provider
or get one of their WW other services if want the 10% off shopping

They design it like this to eventually get as much people off this plan
when they can't update their cards (debit or CC) cos it is probably losing them money or not making them enough money.

It is kinda of dumb though, cos the 10% off shop encourages people to buy from them more..
else people would just go to aldi or costco for better prices unless they have no choice but to buy from WW.

auto recharge setup and all good right now, but my credit card is expiring and I can't update the details without cancelling everything and forfeiting my grandfathered plan

WW design it like this to force everyone to eventually get off this plan.

    • There was an option to change card details in there.
