Not sure if this is a special price, bought twice at this price previously.

It is a special price (matching Woolworths) as I've paid the non-special price of $32.35 a few times in the last year. I don't have Amazon Prime and needed to meet the minimum spend for free delivery so I bought these tissues without the discount.
Woolworths discounts these Quilton tissues to $2.50 per pack (from $2.90) several times a year and Amazon price matches. Coincidentally you would have bought at $27 S&S from Amazon. The last time I bought from Amazon at $27 S&S was in May. The price at Amazon goes back up whenever the sale finishes at Woolworths. I've been buying these tissues for a while and checking the prices at Amazon and Woolworths.

        Good to know!

  • Has anyone also tried and can tell if there’s much difference to the 2 ply Woolies/Coles brand ones for $1.70 each and the Symphony 3 pack for $5?

@tokziktigah I prefer Symphony out of the 3. I would rate Symphony > Woolworths > Coles.
Coles tissues and box are the worst and can't recommend. Coles tissues seem the thinnest and poorest quality with a box that has sharp edges along the perforation (no plastic) and also perforates easily before it is opened.

I've tried most of the brands and their variants e.g. Quilton, Kleenex, Sorbent, Coles, Woolworths, Symphony, Aldi, Chemist Warehouse Health & Beauty (smaller size) etc. The only brand I would never buy again is the Coles brand.

The most luxurious and softest tissue is Kleenex Aloe Vera & Vitamin E 3 Ply Facial Tissues. Best for a runny nose. https://www.amazon.com.au/Kleenex-Vitamin-Facial-Tissues-cou…

      • Whats a good price for those aloe 3 ply ones? Havent bought them in ages

Thanks for your review! Looks like I’ll stick with the Symphony. Our house uses half a box a day so i don’t think i can afford 3 ply lol

        • You wouldn't believe this but I saw an upmarket dental practice displaying the Symphony tissue box at the receptionist desk. So Symphony is good enough for the rich dentists lol. I also use Symphony when I'm out of Quilton or Sorbent. Symphony is probably the best generic brand.

Good find OP, great for the winter season, gonna buy a box as I'm low on tissues!! 🤧🤧

  • Prison issue quality lately

Lol The quality of all the brands seem to have reduced including the Kleenex Aloe Vera ones so all relative to each other. None of them are as good as a few years ago.
