even has a hood for the macpac halo fans!

Macpac is down, this is synth.

      • Good for vegan / animal right concerned people in that case

    Isn’t that it’s normal price?

    • +3

Mine was delivered with a tag of $39. So I would say $25 is discounted price.

Wow. People are sensitive these days. Straight to negative votes lol

I wanted navy and that’s at original price at my local stores

Only Bitter Brown & Ivy Clming colours only, popular Black and Navy still $39

  • Finally Poor man's MacPac

    Yay more crap for landfill

Need a heat retention per dollar comparison with the macpac jacket

  • should be targetted for victorians! :)

  • Polyester filled. Wouldn't even warm up in Melbourne during the last few mornings.

    • Must been pretty cold lately. I've got a puffer style jacket from UK company WeirdFish that has polyester wadding and I've previously been in Melbourne during July and August wearing just a T-shirt under it and was quite warm. For reference I put the car heater on when it gets to 20c in Perth lol.
One issue with Polyester is it's not very breathable depending on the yarn size unless it's been mixed with other fibres.

      • Coldest morning of the year was yesterday.

This would be a nice jacket to wear in the autumn or early spring in Melbourne.

        • Had a look at it today in Kmart, not as padded as the jacket I've got to compare it against. Would probably be ok as a cheap jacket for Perth winter.

  • Or the OzBargain favourite - Macpac Halo deal just posted.

Ive got one and for $25, despite the negative comments, you cant go wrong.

  • I have the non-hooded version of this; you can definitely tell it's not as expensive as others because the filling material pokes through after a few weeks.

Would still recommend it at the price point.

Edit: Black and Navy are $39, it's the other two colours that are $25

twice as good as the $12 big w puffer ?

    • +1

No. The big w one is much warmer. I tried both.

      • Thanks, il stick with the big w

      • im not a fan of the big w one. The material feels harsh and it's not as soft as down and more puffy - it's at least warm.

  • +1

Filling contains a minimum of 80% recycled polyester made from recycled materials

    Well, that's not good.

    • +7

Actually it's great. Down would certainly be better but for a near disposable jacket I'm glad it's recycled, shouldn't be a factor for warmth.

This one's better imo.. Even though without a hoodie.

    • Looks like a… garbage bag?

      • +1

If that's your opinion. You're welcome to it :)

All puffer jackets are so ugly

    • Just got this one delivered. For 25 bucks, its a steal. Personally, I think this one looks better than the one that's been posted. However, the other one is more comfortable.

  • Astonishing value

    • The filling is polyester, I'd say it's priced accordingly.

  • Why no Kmart logo??
