If it is the same as Melbourne then there are a lot of gin places.
I went to the Sydney one and thought it was pretty good. I wouldn't pay full price but at this discounted price it's good value especially if you haven't been before. It's great for sampling different types of food and you're bound to find something new and exciting (I found out about sparkling red wine and my wife got to try seltzer for the first time). Note that you'll need to buy a glass to sample the wines.
My recommendation would be to take a day off and go on Friday if possible since vendors told me it gets pretty busy on weekends (I went on Friday and the wine section was packed)Went to the Perth one last year, lot of the non wine and upper end wine samples cost money and yeah you need to buy the glass. Was a good day out but i think we still spent $200 on samples, snacks and cheese.
Surprising, we had cheese samples for free (both in the cheese alley bit and the smelly cheese stand), as well as various wine/spirits samples and didn't pay for any of those.
Pro tip, save the glass from one year, take to the next (or flash a Citibank card to get one free)
I just looked in my cupboard and i have 11 glasses from previous years… 😆
Grabbed 2 tix… had been holding off on purchasing the 2-4-1 flexi tix (for $42), so this is a win!
All tickets now gone 😞
Kudos for sharing!
I booked mine for this coming Sunday. Paid $16.50 this morning 10 am. Instructions were later provided by "On The House" to claim the tickets. Swift and painless. Guess who's going to have an awesome weekend :P
Took my mum and my nan today, we had a fantastic time together so thanks for posting spackbace. Hope you got to go and spend time with someone special too
If "It's on The House" shouldn't it be free ?
