    NBN so expensive now

  • +10

Cheaper deals elsewhere and with local Oz support. Pass.

Price not competitive, like at all. Piss off with your ads.

Currently on Leaptel you can get 250/25 mbps for $89 per month - price valid for 12 months. All other plans are also at lower price points for the first 12mths.
Also, get a $50 sign up bonus if you use a referrral.

There's also this FTTN/FTTC to FTTP offer.
More Telecom is also cheaper if you have CBA Yello.

No bargain ads only. Also it seems you didn't learn from your previous post.

    OzAdvertising strikes again!

Not sure how this is a bargain. There are other providers with all Aussie support charging less, and they have introductory offers.

    As @Twix says … pass.

  • +3

Not a bargain - plenty of cheaper deals from established providers out there

  • Ouch, not so competitively priced ..

  • keeping the prices UP UP UP 🎶🎶

Is this a joke or am I stupid?

Your first post was smoked for not offering any bargains, it seems with this one you have come back to retrieve your hat……….

No offense, but your post is considered an ordinary commercial ad, not an Oz deal.

    Not a deal 🙄

I'm retired now, but had a career in tech and marketing for some pretty big retail outlets in Aus. Not the same I know but I think the basic lessons are similar.
I'm one of those people who always like to support the small operators. I understand that with more numbers the cheaper things can get including what is being sold. So its hard.
But I think there are few things you can do. Ozbargain is great if you actually have a bargain and ISP's in the past have grown but conversely if it's not a bargain it's a bad idea. Negs are not a good look.
Investigate implementing IPoE as I feel its a preferred connection method by many people. People like it when its simple.
Make sure "business grade" is indeed that..people associate it with a static IP (routed in some cases), definitely not CGNAT. If it isn't then people will be disappointed. You might know the network mostly serves businesses but that is not what people care about.
Don't have fees for payment types, just include it in the price. Again, for the sake of such a small amount I feel it turns people off. Lastly, some incentive is a good idea. Its hard to do it across the board but even just for one speed tier. You might not make any money on that but it does get the name out there, the brand and it should be a net positive.
I'm not in the ISP game so please just take my suggestions for what they are worth. Good luck with it.
