This reads more like an advertisement than an actual bargain.

Say no to OzB becoming Ozfreeadvertising.

Any bargain of crypto and good crypto

So, “discount of up to 10%” is the “bargain” here? Sounds like an ordinary sale. Where’s the bargain?

Yikes, 10 second Google landed me with a $60 “bargain”
    https://www.getyourguide.com/maafushi-l159192/maafushi-nurse…

Okay, you’re actually just a terrible reseller of getyourguide with a markup and CrYpTo BrO payment option.

There is NOTHING authentic about this. “About me” page is 100% AI written, the Last Minute Deals graphic is a stolen image from “fungies.io”, apparently you’re partnered with Google as a travel partner.

Things like this delegitimise the use of Crypto and force people to believe cryptocurrency is a scam without legitimate merit. It’s so frustrating to watch a decentralised currency attract scummy acts like this.

Be better, OP. I know you don’t care, hence stuff like this exists, but you’ve got the ability to make a nice website (though wouldn’t be surprised if it’s stolen design as well) - if you’re serious about an alternate way to pay for things, take a hit to get started and build the trust with offering a platform to pay with bitcoin.

Hi SlifSlif, thanks for taking the time to review us, we welcome and listen to all reviews and most definitely will make changes to our platform to make it better for travelers :)

And yes, we're a metasearch platform, and we're partnered with a diverse selection of travel providers.

At this stage, we're simply offering travelers an alternative payment method, and travelers can choose to pay crypto via Coinbase wallets, or any other wallets that Coinbase supports (eg: Metamask). A growing number of people now earn their salary via crypto, and having a platform that accepts crypto will save them from conversion fees.

You can pay with Bitcoin if you have it in your wallet, but it is recommended to pay with some of the tokens that have less gas/transaction fees such as Solana, Brett, and USDC, as the transaction fee for Bitcoin is quite high (11%).

      • +1

where is the bargain if transaction fee is high ?

        • -2

People can choose to pay with any tokens that they have, however, it is recommended to avoid paying with tokens that have high gas/transaction fees such as Bitcoin and ETH, and if this is the only token you have then it won't be a bargain.

For people who own Solana, Brett, or any other BASE tokens, the transaction fee is very low and we genuinely believe they're the next stage of payment currencies.

          • +1

@overtheplanet: I neg this one as this is just ads not bargain since processing fee is higher

            • @HolyCr4p: That's not true :) Gas fee for Solana is between $0.003 and $0.03, and depending on the total amount of the products, this is nowhere near as high as Credit card transaction fees which are usually around 1.5% to 3%.

But as I have mentioned earlier, we're only offering an alternative payment method to our customers. People can choose to pay with a credit card if they're comfortable with paying with Crypto, and we're offering a 10% discount for people who choose to pay with Crypto, hence the bargain :)

      • You Crypto Bros need lessons on PR. Maybe I should offer these services and charge in crypto.

Sometimes it’s better to simply not reply.

        1) “Partnering” in any professional setting needs to work both ways, I can bet my left nut your partnership with Google doesn’t fit this criteria. You’re not endorsed by any one else on that partner list.Having your brand be searchable in the metaverse doesn’t make you anything other than a searchable term. Stop it.

        2) You “simply offering” an alternate payment DOES NOT MAKE THIS A BARGAIN. Offering an additional 10% off when paid through crypto ontop of gauged pricing OF $60 - even with combined 20% still, does not make this a bargain.

Saying that more people are getting wages through crypto doesn’t justify the price hike and slapping a bargain on it.

In fact, you didn’t address the price difference, you just weirdly defended your stance on offering crypto, which I had no problem with.

And that last paragraph was copied and pasted from AI generated passage.

        • +1

First of all, nothing about my comments is AI-generated, maybe we're just getting influenced by the latest AI trend :)

Secondly, to address your concern with the price hike, no, we do not price hike our products and slap a discount. We're a metasearch platform, and unfortunately, as much as we would like to, we're unable to source our inventories with the best prices all the time and compete with the big players such as GetYourGuide.

We however do have some great products that are competitively priced, eg: Moreton Island Day Tour: Shipwreck Snorkeling, Kayaking & Sand Tobogganing, where our price is $159 per person, and the same activity on GetYourGuide is $179.

          • @overtheplanet: Influenced, copying, all the same - right? lol.

Then ITS NOT A BARGAIN. Why are you posting here if the products you are offering ARE. NOT. A. BARGAIN.

            NOT A BARGAIN.

Your example, IS STILL more expensive than a 5 second google search: https://www.bookme.com.au/things-to-do/brisbane/activity/mor…

It’s literally THE FIRST DAMN RESULT.

            • @SlifSlif: Hi, the activity you've posted from Bookme.com.au, price is $179 per adult which is the same as GetYourGuide, we're offering $159 per person, and if you checkout using crypto, that's another 10% off which brings it down to $143.1

Their $151 deal price is for 7 am pickup, which we don't offer on our platform so this is not a like-to-like price comparison. Not everyone would like to wake up early at 7 am :)

Again, this deal is not a sitewide discount, it's for 10% off using Crypto payment for the people who would like to avoid converting their crypto into fiat currency and pay :)

We wouldn't be posting the deal here if it's just a general product offering price, but then again, not trying to convince you into thinking that this is a bargain if you generally don't believe this is a bargain :)

              • @overtheplanet: Best of luck with your “business”.

You can rest assured if you post here without a bargain I’ll let others know where to find an actual bargain.

                Have a fantastic day. :)

                • @SlifSlif: Not a problem mate, all reviews are welcome :)

Hopefully, this can be a bargain for the people who would like to check out using crypto

                  • @overtheplanet: Hope those fools realise they’ll save more with their diamond hands and using their card instead by going to the links I post on your next post :)
