Nutribullet 900W Mega Pack Blender $88 ($78 with Perks) + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ JB Hi-Fi

301

Hey OzBers,

My 600W died last month so bean on the prowl for a replacement.

600W retails for $99 with the 900W (Mega) at $119.
Surprisingly Amazon has the 900W Essentials (not the mega) for $119. Amazon is usually my go to but this time has failed me.

I found JB and HN on sale and 'mixing it up' for $88, also used the JB perks to shave off another $10 so have been able to nab it for $78.

Decided to do a Click'n'Collect so will pick it up in store first thing tomorrow morning.

Looks like they'll charge another $9 for delivery if you're too busy bargain blending it up.

  • Thanks @alvian for cleaning that up! :)

  • Anyone have any anecdotes how this compares with the 1200W model?

more powerful, worth the extra $22

Recently upgraded to this from the 800W which broke after 7 years of daily use.

I’d read reviews saying the 1200W was too loud or too powerful but personally disagree. Maybe sounds a little louder, but can’t really tell tbh.

There’s two main differences I’ve noticed. Smoothies are thicker and better incorporated so if you like a super creamy texture, the 1200 might be better?

The downside for me is that I normally tap the side of the lid on the cup to get the excess off. The blades on the 1200 stick up further so it’s harder to do this.

I would have happily bought another 800 as I never felt the need for additional power, but couldn’t find any for below $110 so it seemed reasonable just to get the 1200 for the same price.

    • The 1200 is heaps better IMO. It’s more powerful and it just has a better quality feel to it. The 1200 cups are not compatible with the original 600 and 900 but I like them better so I think I’ll probably throw the old ones out as I don’t see myself going back to the 900 again.

      • why would you throw the old cups away?

just reuse for storing your smoothies or other liquids

    • $22 for the 1200W model is well worth the extra outlay

Good guys price beat button goes down to $83

  • Wanted to buy this before, but got a stick blender instead.

    • Spectacular.

    • You made a good choice. This is useless.

  • The most useless blender I ever bought. This is worse than the 600w for some reason. Just doesn’t have the speed or the centrifugal action.

    Do Not Buy.
