Mmm. Can't login to sister club. Need to login to get the free ship over $50 (local has no stock)

    Internal error occurred.

    Oh well.

    • This is what was happening to me. I had to reset my password. Very helpful error message, right? 😂

I wish there was an option to neg just Priceline. Such a waste of time. Website has been struggling and I could not even sign up for an account. The registration link sent to email just never loaded.

    • just use guest

  • Thanks, TA
Placed 2 orders just before midnight, could not login to sister club and first payment failed but tried again (checkout as guest) and orders went thru.. Can't complain!

  • +1

Similar situation to jyueli with the spinners for ages:
Got to the Payment page, entered billing & credit card info and clicked Place Order a couple min before midnight and got the dreaded spinning circle.
Internet was fine but it spun for ages, and no confirmation email, so i re-entered the credit card and Placed Order since there was still time before the deal expired.
    Then the deal expired…

Left it spinning for ages, way more than 10 min, got fed up and refreshed and checked out again since I do actually want the items.
Same thing, long wait until it finally stopped spinning, but it didn't even checkout successfully! It took me back to the Review Cart page (the one before Payment) smh.

Took a break and now I'm back to try a final time to buy on priceline - otherwise I'll just have to wait for the stuff at Chemist Warehouse to go on special.
No issues logging into priceline/sister club account, but checkout is a Pain :(

Lmao i take that last bit back, it just kicked me out to the Log in to your account page.
Absolutely terrible experience, I even tried a different browser, clicked through again etc. Ultimately the transaction did not go through.

only had 1 out of 3 transactions track since signing up with these guys a month ago. gonna wait to see if my claims get approved or not before using again

Anyone who purchased through the iOS app have their cashback tracked?

    • +1 - coming up 24hrs soon with no confirmed tracking. Wonder if TA is aware of some issues?

First and last time I use the app I think…

      • +4

Hey guys. Just checked our reports and can tell you there's literally thousands of orders that tracked successfully to TCB members with a very large portion of those made on the iOS app so I doubt there's an issue, otherwise none would have tracked (as happened with Boost one day during my time at CR which we eventually sorted). Did you experience any payment issues at checkout perhaps which may have killed tracking? Anyway, please don't worry. Simply lodge a claim after a few days and we'll take care of them for you. Many thanks.

  • Does anyone know Priceline cancellation policy is for not picking up, I accidentally misread the rebate and assumed 50% rebate upto $20 capped at each order and not total cap of $20.

    • Not sure about the Priceline policy, but please ensure you cancel the correct order and not the one that tracked to you with $20 cashback. You'll be able to see the order number by clicking/tapping the tracked order on your earnings page. The ones with $0 cashback are obviously the ones you want to cancel. Cheers!

    • just call the store to cancel and be refunded :)

    • I made the same mistake. Misread the total cap

  • Hi TA, priceline cancelled one of my items because it was out of stock. Would I still get the Cashback for the remaining item in my order? If not I'll have to cancel the whole order

    • +1

Hi and thanks for the comment. Please see my response here from a previous enquiry. Thanks!

  • The priceline website froze and my transaction went through at exactly 12:00 on July 3. Cashback is showing at 2.5% rate of 92c instead of $20 ish.

Bit of a bummer, didn't expect it to be so exact.. horrible website.

No point in filing anything right @tightarse

    • +3

Hi. The promo actually ended 11:59pm per the terms & OP. Message me later today and I’ll see what I can do 😊

      • Wow i didn't expect anything of this but really appreciate that you guys have adjusted this and honoured the 50% cashback.

        Mad respect.

        • Pleasure. Feel free to pass on the good word 👍

  • I made a purchase on Priceline 2 days ago on Chrome but havent been tracked or shown the Cashback yet… Is it normal guys??

  • I did click and collect but it's not showing up. Do I need to wait for 7 days to make a claim? Thanks

    • I ordered through the app

      • when I paid using apple pay, it went through but it jumped back to topcashback app - but i did get confirmation email and have already collected it

        • Hi @mossie86 & @drhip. Please see the latter part of my comment here re claims. Thanks in advance.

          • @tightarse: Thanks TA. Will wait for 7 days. I dont think I had any issues with payment.

          • @tightarse: thanks! I will wait for another 5 days to lodge a claim. Can't seem to be able to do it via iOS app so it needs to be done via the website..

            • @mossie86: Awesome. You can definitely do it via the app. Tap More / Help / Here to Help / Customer Service. Cheers 😀

              • @tightarse: got it! thank you. Wish it tracked automatically :( and hope it goes through!

                • +1

@mossie86: You know where to find me. You'll be fine :)

                  • +1

@tightarse: Hi TA, it's been 7 days so I submitted a request for my cashback. The response is very vague - a couple of months and it doesn't have anywhere to show I have submitted a request? Thanks!

  • @tightarse my order came today and i received the wrong item (1 out of 6) which i cant use. I filed for a replacement, but priceline replaced it with another item and in the process refund and re-charge me.. can i still get the cashback? doesnt seem reasonable if its not my fault thy sent the wrong item? thanks

    • +1

Hi. Did they refund the entire order, or just partial? If it's the entire order, then it could be an issue. If it's partial, keep an eye on your cashback and if/when your cashback changes, let me know and we can escalate for you. Thanks.

    • I got an item with unacceptably short expiry. If cashback wasn't involved I'd be all over them to do better. Gonna chalk it up to "don't trust them with future online orders".

      • Not so sure if its done on purpose so that "priceline" can nullify the cashback and increase sales at the same time..

i mean for instance my scenario.. doesnt the system have a way when the staff picks my order and scans it.. it will prompt its the wrong order??

and thn on my end.. i would hv to return it or exchange it which nullifies the order..

        • Not saying they are doing it on purpose, just saying any change to the order would risk cashback not being paid out, and since it's 50% it's not worth the risk. A good retailer would be checking expiry dates of their stock and taking them off shelves when close to, or at, expiry (it's not legal to sell expired goods in Australia).

      • @Gav @ruztynail Priceline staff would not be aware of cashback transactions and most likely careless. With the short dated item, you could try asking to swap over for another one if they have it, without changing the order. Short expiry dates annoy me too.

I've done several click and collect transactions recently at Priceline, with or without cashbacks. They are behind in their online ordering system when compared to Chemist Warehouse as an example.

The stock levels at Priceline can be inaccurate. It's best to call them if possible to check on stock levels and expiry dates before placing an order in future. I had rung 2 stores who didn't have the stock although they were not listed as out of stock online. It's a pain but will minimise any issues.

@ruztynail With click and collect, I didn't see them scan the items. A staff member would pick the items off the shelf and place in a bag. Your delivery order would probably be similar. A few months ago, one of my online orders was missed in the system so I went in to enquire and was able to see how the order was done. They are not as sophisticated as Amazon.

I had picked up my click and collect orders from different Priceline stores. They all have a file that they write your order in manually when it's ready and ask you to sign when you pick up. A few times, my order wasn't on the list or they couldn't find it. Depending on the staff, they might not bother to write in the file when the order wasn't written in. Hence Priceline hasn't got a fully integrated ordering system yet and still rely on pen and paper unlike the competitor Chemist Warehouse.

I haven't picked up my order yet for this offer and hopefully there won't be any issues. I would still shop at Priceline and use cashback when there is a good offer like this TCB one. It's best to ring (before the shop shuts) to check on stock levels and expiry dates. The new rep tightarse is reliable and would try to help you get your cashback especially when it's not your fault.

thanks for sharing your thoughts. appreciate it.

        • +1

Very well summised. Thank you :)

        • Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of click & collect where I am. As already stated, I know they don't know about cashback. The value of the item is simply not worth chasing. Lesson learnt, and I'll be more conscious of whether to order with Priceline or not.

          • @Gav: have you actually tried calling the store which dispatched your order, or customer service, to discuss your issue?

Priceline do free returns/replacements via AusPost

            • @tonester: "any change to the order would risk cashback not being paid out, and since it's 50% it's not worth the risk"

              • @Gav: It's a pain but if the store has newer stock, it may be worth swapping over.

As it's not your fault, if the cashback is rejected, @tightarse would be able to sort it out.

              • @Gav: how is the order being changed if you’re just exchanging for a later expiry date?

                • @tonester: Could be processed as an exchange. I can't walk into a store so it's at their liberty how they'd handle it from a transaction processing perspective. Not worth the risk… appreciate all the concern but it's not a high value item and I've moved on.

                  • @Gav: no worries, just surprised that you didn’t make a simple call

  • Overpaid for a product, cashback didn't track. TCB - never again

    • +1

Hi. Your tracking could have failed with any publisher, and it's impossible to know why without actually watching you click through. So many variables at play. Please lodge a claim if you wish and the team will take care of it. If you have any issues beyond that, feel free to reach out to me directly. Thank you.

2 out of 4 items I ordered are expired!
    Cashback tracked.
Can I get a replacement and/or refund while keeping the cashback (at least the remained value of it)?

    • Avoid making any change to the original order if you can. Best to go into a Priceline store, show them the expired items, and get them to replace them without putting through a refund on the original order number. This way the original order remains intact and nothing changes as far as cashback goes. Hope this helps.

      • -2

It's not really worth it to go to a priceline pharmacy to save 15$.
If they send me a replacement, would that affect the cashback?
probably the last time I buy from priceline, all orders had expired products. Also, I would have never made the order without the 50% cashback as prices on amazon are cheaper

        • Not sure why you neg'd the deal right after I responded as I was trying to help you. Anyway, you're free to do as you wish. Have an enjoyable afternoon.

          • -6

            @tightarse: What? hahahhaha
so you got sad now and don't want to help me anymore hahaha?
Your job (as a store rep) is to help me, you're not doing me any favour. The whole issue is mainly caused by the cashback rules and potentially knowingly dealing with a dodgy store as it's well known for sending expired products (online reviews).
For all I know, topcashback could be on it, as it gets the commission or whatever profit they make from referring the sale, priceline would get their profit, and the customer end up losing. Without the cashback, I would have not ordered this and/or I could have returned the item and got my refund so yes I think it deserves a neg.

            • +1

@ozbozb: Not going to get into a debate over what my job is or isn't. I'll just leave this & this here for you to make of it what you will. They're responses I made previously in this post with regards changed orders. This made me laugh: For all I know, topcashback could be in on it. And if you need assistance in the future, please PM me and I'll do my best to sort it. Thank you.

        • probably the last time I buy from priceline, all orders had expired products

what did you do about the earlier expired products?

besides exchanging in-store, have you actually tried calling the stores which dispatched your orders, or customer service, to discuss your issue?

they also do free returns/replacements via AusPost

          • @tonester: I just returned some (they did not have non-expired items) and refunded the rest.
The whole issue atm is the cashback, there is no issue in returning/replacement, I just did not want to void the cashback as it was the only reason I made this purchase. The prices are lower on Amazon for the exact same products, and I did not need most of them.
They did assure me the first time, that this is a rare fault on their part, hence why I made the second order, and this is my third order purely because of the cashback but doubt I'll be buying from them again online. 3 out of 3 orders had expired items. Pretty sure that's a business model rather than a rare occurrence.

            • @ozbozb: Also, a quick note on the the store, in my first order, I did report that this item was expired and they said they did not have non-expired replacement, however, they did not remove the product from their online store. So new customers can still buy this item and will get expired products and they were totally aware of this.

              • +1

@ozbozb: whom did you call - the store which dispatched your order, or customer service?

orders are dispatched from individual stores, not a warehouse, so expiry dates could vary between different ones

                • @tonester:

orders are dispatched from individual stores, not a warehouse, so expiry dates could vary between different ones

correct. all my orders came from different stores.

    • @ozbozb Sorry to hear of your bad experience.

Priceline offers free returns and replacements via the post if you can't get into a store.
If cashback is rejected with the replacement, please DM the rep tightarse who will be able to help you.

  • Just checked mine hasn't tracked and also my supercheap auto also didn't track from last month.

    lodged both claims.

Doesn't make sense as all my shopback claims are always tracked.
