Many of the virgin flights to Bali are 737-8. JFYI.

    • Good or bad?

      Valuable Insight

    • 737-800 a different plane? Noticed the articles referred to the Max 8.

      • +1

Yep they are different. My understanding is that 737-800 is the precedesor of 737-8 (MAX series).
737-800 and 737-900 have been out there for decades before Boeing introduced the MAX series a few years ago.

        • Cheers! I’m safe then.

  • Nothing international out of Cairns.
Leave jetstar the only viable option.
Then again: Who wants to fly a 737max with plastic seats
when you can have a dreamliner for less?

  • Beware with Virgin, the cost of adding checked-in baggage is a bit excessive and possibly cancels out potential savings, e.g. for an international flight, it's $95 post-booking if done online.
