What the title says.

It is most likely targeted but never hurt to try. From memory, it's not as good a deal as past $1 a month for three months return offer that Audible had offered in the past, but imho, it's still a good deal regardless.

I still haven't finished reading the books I got from my previous deals so I might hold off on this one.

    reminded me to cancel full membership… then get this
    You’ll lose any credits you have at the end of your billing cycle if you cancel membership.
    isn't that BS? fully paid credit… robbery.

      Buy any titles, and once you're back to membership, refund those books and you'll get refunds in credits as well.

      Worked for me last time.

    I love the idea of using Audible, I did for a few months during a promo/trial but having to keep paying for a subscription to listen to an audiobook you've already paid for is insane to me. This business model needs to die

      In my years using Audible, I've never lost access to audiobooks paid for with a credit after I cancel my subscription. Should also be the same for audiobooks paid for with cash.

      @cludo: You keep the books that your purchased and membership is not required i.e. they remain in your account. One can evsn download the books to PC etc.

        Huh, I've just checked my Audible and it seems I can play the books now. In the past I swear I had received an error saying I needed to have an active sub.
        Well then… this changes things. Maybe I will take up the 3 month offer, purchase a few more books and unsub 😁

          That was probably for one of the books included with the subscription that wasn't one you paid for with credits. They have the Plus Catalogue which is a selection of books that are included with the membership that you can 'add' to your library but they only are accessible with an active subscription.

          The ones you buy with credits or $$$ have always been accessible without an active membership.

      No, the credits are included. You can buy books separately however

      It’s stupid really. You can listen to very few b grade books unless you pay extra to buy the books ontop of the subscription. For $16.95 per month you get 1 book with a credit.
