    this flavour is actually delicious

  • This 'jumbo' size is perfect for a single meal - the smaller size is good as a snack, only IMO

and don't forget to crack an egg in… yum!

    • Do you mean cook the egg before hand and drop it in or boiling water and crack it in raw lol?

  • +1

Might try this as colesworth jacked the price of shin ramyun to $8

    • Aldi has it for cheaper, below 6 if my memory is right.

      • FYI those are 4 packs at Aldi vs 5 packs at Colesworth

        • Wow, that sucks

    • I think black one price jacked too

best to eat uncooked with the sachet packet

  • Oos

    • I have read about Amazon being sneaky and showing OOS for people living in certain (rural?) areas, could it be this?

Edit: Showing as temporarily OOS for me now.

  • our local coles don't have the single packs of Mama noodles….I was going to buy one to try the green curry, but they only have 5 packs of tom yum and pork

  • not sure if I should get this. I tried some Koko brand spicy prawn flavour noodles from Aldi a while ago, and the prawn smell was overpowering…..are these the same…in saying that, I love tom yum goong

These are epic. once you try these you wont want anything else

  • OOS, knowing Amazon it may be back later.

  • How spicy are these? I had another brand of Tom Yum and it almost seared my tastebuds off but I like the general flavour.

I think these have a separate chilli sachet

    • +1

These are great. I don’t add the chili sachet. They are still spicy but in a nice way.

      • Perfect. Thanks to both of you.

    • +1

They are not spicy at all and just tangy if you don’t add the separate chilli sachet.
I usually add the whole sachet of chilli and the spiciness is bearable. Comparable to one 🌶️ of spiciness like what the restaurants would grade their spicy food on their menu.

Honestly the best instant noodle out, nothing beats this flavour

  • If you're paying this price for these noodles, you need to hand back your premium OzB membership. Take a drive to an "asian" suburb, walk into any chinese grocery store and get a carton of 30 for like $13-$15

    • Sure or not pre covid times yes.
Today's world. All the Koreans instant noodles and the more popular ones Chinese shops are no longer cheap.

  • This is made in Thailand and only 90 grams. In general, instant noodles made in South East Asia countries are mostly small, unlike Korean instant noodles around 120/125 grams which I can eat 1 pack. For small packs under 100 grams, usually I eat 2 pcs.

There are other brands with shrimp flavour made in Singapore (Koka, Prima) and Malaysia (HarMee) for example.

  • I literally just had it tonight. My winter and cold/flu comfort food.
Added an egg and some shallots.

Have to say its no TomYum. I can't describe what the taste is like, chicken+vinegar?
I had another better TomYum wish i saved the name.

Fortunately the size is good, unlike MiGoreng which has shrunk a lot.
