Shopping Woolworths Online (10% off and Paper Bag)

I haven't been using Woolworths online shopping for a long time and my 10% discount from Woolworths insurance this month is expiring today.
Now I cannot find the 10% discount online code (they were sent in email before). Woolworths gave me this link to get the code. The FAQ on the page says below but neither place has the code.

  • In the Extra tab in your Everyday Rewards app under My Account > Everyday Extra
  • In your Everyday Rewards online account under My Account > Everyday Extra

When I use "XJUN2024" I found on https://www.couponese.com/store/woolworths.com.au/, or "JUN2024" like previous format, Woolworths online says the code is invalid. So insurance customer can no longer enjoy 10% discount online?

In terms of paper bag, I remember they were mandatory for some time and became optional later. But today they are mandatory for $1. I was buying 10kg rice so paper bag is useless however I am not able to remove the paper bag. It is absurd they are forcing customer to pay for unnecessary item while claiming reducing carbon footprint.

Paper bags are just another "service fee."

It was like 12 months ago that they changed the Mobile/insurance 10% discounts too "in store only." Only Everyday Extra is In store/Online.

    • Oh, didn't know. Thanks.
Can extra users use 10% off twice a month like before (in store and online).

i find that the Everyday Extra is In store and Online. you can use it twice in a month.

  • only instore…no code needed
(I hate that they stopped the online option :( )

Noone believes for a second that the changes to bags is because of the environment.

It was an orchestrated cash grab by colesworth and it worked. I'm sure they sat in a room and someone pitched the idea "how do we stop paying for these plastic bags and rather get the customer to buy inferior quality paper ones".

Whoever came up with that idea was a genius. An (profanity), but a genius.

  • "But today they are mandatory for $1."

They charge me $2. You are not going to get a delivery with only one item so you are going to be charged for bags regardless of whether the rice is bagged.
