That's super nice and I can afford it, I'm just too much of a cheap-a$$

Agreed. Waiting for the Fugu's to go back on sale :(

Didn't realize how good they were until late in the game :(

This is honestly one of my favorite watches :'(

Couple of Fugus are on special over at WatchDepot, $269 for the pepsi I’ve been eyeing!

        • +1

Don't think those are Fugus but promaster dive watches

I think this is what you were referring to: https://www.watchdepot.com.au/products/citizen-promaster-ny0…

          This is a Fugu: https://starbuy.com.au/citizen-fugu-ny0110-13e/

          • @4ksandknives: I’ve always thought fugu refers to that specific scalloped bezel design, ISO Diver spec, and left hand crown position but maybe I was wrong this whole time..

@piupiupiu: Promaster's are still the bread and butter for many divers. Mineral Glass holds up better to high pressure compared to Sapphire Glass to my knowledge, so it's a great tool watch for divers.

Fugu is spec'd up with Sapphire Glass and the updated movement in the more recent models. They'd also have the Puffer Fish engraved on the back of the case, which would be obvious sign. Highly, highly recommend grabbing a Fugu because of the performance/value you get from this versus the QC issues with Seiko's

    +1 for lowest price ever

    This is the pick

It’s nice, but I thought the two tone bracelet NJ0154-80H was a little more fun… I’m tempted

@Jimothy Wongingtons I think that would look great on you..

  • As a Garmin user with a 47mm epix watch that seems like a good size, is this watch at 40mm proportionate? It looks gorgeous but worried it will be tiny on my large arm.

I think being an integrated bracelet design it would still be good for up to 7.5 in wrists, whereas it will have quite a bit of presence on my 6.5 in wrist (but still ok).

The 40mm PRX quartz wears bigger so maybe see if you can one of those cheap.
